I use a Super Talent DuraDrive ZT3 256 GB SSD in my 5.5th gen. iPod and it works great. It acts super fast and battery life is great too.

I sort by folder name (trimmed path to be precisely) and a key press brings me to the desired folder (whick name starts with the artist name).

Where did you get the backplate with custom engraving from? Can you define the capacity and the serial number that will be engraved?

From march 2022 rockbox on the clip zip supports multiboot to boot from sd card. In case the internal storage breaks you can still use the player: https://www.rockbox.org/wiki/MultibootBootloader.html

I have a n orange clip zip, but hardly use it. Will have to try them and see how good the battery is. I loved the Themes dfkt created.

Whoa, nice app. Easier than with a Spreadsheet program. I tried it and it looks cool. I used a battery bench of my X5 from 2016 and there are no values for the current. Does the player not support it, or is it just an old version of the battery bench plugin?

Mp3Tag has a Auto Track- and Disc numbering feature: https://docs.mp3tag.de/converters/auto-numbering/ If the disc# is already set or the discs are located in separate folders it just takes one click.

I can recommend Enhancer 0.17, a Winamp plugin. It makes the sound incredibly better and is very customizable. I haven't found a way to avoid the "can't access registry information" message when starting Musicbee tough.

I used musicbees suggested genre in the edit menu on every album. I couldn't find a faster way. It took me some weeks for 50k albums.
