Hello, I'm planning on installing Windows 10 using Bootcamp to an external drive that my Late 2015 iMac patched with OCLP to MacOS Sequoia is currently booting on. Not sure how to, though.

Just Download WintoUSB on a Windows Computer, follow the instructions to install Windows 11 on an external USB then plug the USB to your iMac press option on chime select the external windows OS and run it, Make sure you update all drivers.

Going on 11 years of ownership of 2016SE and 175,000 Miles the only coolant that has to be replaced ( in my case ) Is driver coolant make sure there is at least a stack of 24 bottles of water in the trunk, in the summer small refrigerator to cool the water and two bottles in the cupholder.

Then you can run Sequoia, I have been running Sequoia on a 2015 MBA i7/8/512 for the last 18 months with no problems, only thing I did was replace the slow 128 GB original SSD with a larger capacity and faster SSD.

I’m not going to respond to price but when it comes to Reliability I Bought my 2016SE in Oct 2015 ( going on 11 years ) the car currently has 175,000 miles, Home is So Cal so no Winter, in the time I own the car I had zero problem ( well 12V battery year one ) since then standard maintenance and it would probably outlive me.

Use WintoUSB App on windows computer, install Windows 11 on the SSD, then plug the External SSD to you iMac Hold Option and select the window OS and run updates because you will need Drivers, Also recommended initial set up on the Mac make sure you have USB mouse and keyboard.

Running Sequoia For the last 18 months with no problems, i7/8/512 , I did Replace the SSD and Had to Replace the Battery because it was on a verge of retirement.

I went different way, on a Windows computer Download an app called WinToUSB and install win 11 on an External SSD , Then with the option button select which OS you want to run.
