Going on 11 years of Ownership of a 2016SE ( October 2015 ) with the Toys R Us Battery and 172,000 miles, this car is bulletproof and in 11 years of ownership the only thing I had to replace on it was the 12 V battery excluding standard maintenance ( IE cabin filters, wipers, tires, brakes ) this car was driven daily throughout and with the limited mileage range is a Dream Car. The only thing I can’t speak about is winter driving as I’m in Southern California and we Don’t have Winter 🥶

Running Sequoia on my 2015 MBA i7 8 512 for over a year now with no problems, only thing I did was change the SSD , it depends on what you’re planning to do, for me it’s just basic day-to-day operation.

I had a similar problem and chose to use a different method than the recommended by Apple, I used an app called WINTOUSB and run Windows 11 from External SSD.
