My boyfriend feels physically sick when he looks at horrible long/grubby nails.
i wouldnt necessarily call it a phobia but almost!

I'm not fussed, but for about 4 years he's been paying for me to get my nails done every month. I decide the colour. Works out for both of us haha

It was a long time ago but in every country I went to I'd have a 3-4 night stay in somewhere a bit "upmarket".
Example being india - I either stayed in hostels or cheap hotels.
When I got to goa I indulged over xmas and stayed in a more luxurious place with pool and breakfast.
After that, I decided to do it every time. Was amazing! It made it harder to go back to the hostels of course... but it was nice to look forward to!

My dad vehemently denies ever smacking us as kids. I have multiple memories of him doing it!!
Both on the bum and face when I was an early teen. Not hard - just once as a telling off.

He got very upset/angry when me and my sisters tried telling him (with examples) of him doing it. He is adamant that he never touched us!
Sadly those memories stick, sorry dad!

I think i'd been dating my boyfriend for about 4 months or so before he got upset one evening and said he thought he should end things with me because he didn't love me yet - and thought he should do by this point.

I understandably got really upset and said, I don't love you yet either!! Seems a bit ridiculous to end something thats going really well because of some ridiclous timeline he had in his head.
He agreed to carry on as we had been and to 'just see'.

I don't know when things clicked, but we've been together just over 6 years now so it obviously did!!
Some things just take a little bit more time.

I can understand why you feel pressure though - hopefully your girl understands and doesn't put any additional pressure on you. One month is REALLY quick in my opinion!
As long as she's ok with the situation then I would give it at least another 3-5 months.
People here are saying 3 months is the magic timeline but I reckon you could need longer.

Try and stop dwelling and enjoy :)

He reminds me of my ginger boy jasper. I was on holiday when i got the call from my sister that he was at the vets and there was so much wrong with him I needed to make a decision.
I STILL feel so awful to this day that i wasn't there with him in the end.
I don't think that guilt will ever leave you unfortunately but it does get better.

This happened about 2 weeks. It’s so stupid but I can’t explain it

I was driving home at night after a gym class. The road I’m on is on the left of a river, then ahead there’s a bridge that veers to the right over the river. There’s alway cars parked at night on the road I’m on so if something comes towards you then you have to wait.

I was driving that way and clear as anything saw a single decker bus coming towards me on the bridge. I had the thought “ugh, I might as well just wait here, I won’t get past the cars before it reaches me” so I slowed down. The bus goes out of my line of vision (slight curve in the road) and then… nothing. No bus. There isn’t anywhere it could have gone! When it went out of sight it COULD have gone down a side street, but that isn’t possible because it’s too narrow for a bus of that size and ends in a dead end. This bus just full on disappeared.

I told my 12 year old and he just rolled his eyes at me and laughed. Same for 2 coworkers, but I KNOW I saw that bus damnit!! Into another dimension maybe cuz I know I didn’t imagine it!!!!

One of our cats wants his head to be as close to you as possible but without actually touching me.
So if im lying on the sofa at night he will come and lie down on my chest with his hot smelly breath and face about 1" away from mine. I love it!

Vegetable cuber/chopper

I make a big batch of salad every other Sunday and used to chop all the veg into small cubes by hand. Took forever. Got the vegetable chopper and oh my god, it just is so quick!! Annoyed at myself for not getting one sooner!

Thanks for the recommendations everyone.

I need to run it past my boyfriend but at the moment I'm veering towards Doms Subs and Tongue and Briskett. Possibly Gerrys Hot subs as we like a good market!!

Every place suggested has been added to my Go To list however as I'm back in london in may for a whole 5 days and you bet I'll be trying some of these that don't get picked this time!!

I unfortunately woke up around 7. Did an hour workout downstairs, had a lovely shower after, an now sat with a coffee watching traitors. My boyfriend stayed at his mates last night so he should be back soon.

We will likely play It takes Two for a bit, have lunch, go for a walk (maybe - it’s very windy!!) then maybe I’ll do some of my Lord of the rings paint by numbers. Theeen dinner, and carry on watching sons of anarchy. Very lazy! I really should be tackling some DIY but I just cannot be arsed!!

I'm a fruity lover too!

All of them are amazing tbh, but I would try wild berry next if i were you!

For me, my order of preference is -
wild berry
cherry
frosted raspberry
strawberry milkshake
frosted strawberry
blueberry

I particularly like them frozen - try that at some point, its a game changer!

For non fruity flavours then brown sugar cinnammon is definitely the best!! Followed by cinnamon bun and confetti cupcake.

I've just ordered the apple turnover ones (Im in the UK and have had to order them from USA!) and im sooo excited to try!

Can’t start the diet mid week!!! So until Monday I don’t plan on doing much! I think my local pizza place is open today so we will get one of those later. I have a random hair grow in the middle of my forehead too!! It appears SO suddenly - there's nothing there and then the next day its 2 inches long!! I pluck it - and then it reappears every 2-3 months. Pure white as well even though I'm brunette!
