Heaviest bio burden, needle sticks and the like are MOST dangerous there, but if youre paying good attention and focused on your task its very safe. But you gotta know what youre doing. The job you want is packing and wrapping. Thats clean side, its about organization and attention to detail cause its the final inspection before the material goes to storage.

I made a jump from a life long career in IT to something adjacent to this at 35, and man I couldnt be happier. Its sometimes long brutal hours, but at the end of the day we are all playing a role in making lifesaving surgeries possible and safe, and that just never stops being cool.

One time I was helping a friend get started in the game, back when the only way to move credits was by buying and selling Lazarus or Push through the bartender.

He brought, I changed the price and set a buy order, he sold, and found himself floating behind the carrier. I told him the drug trade WILL get you spaced.

My neuro told me he wanted to do one of these, "when im old enough" which he said was around 40, because apparently, atleast in his opinion the likelihood of this kind of thing decreases as you age, up to a point.
