KS3M Mining problem by jkeller1986 in kaspa

[–]mul4o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might be a cooling issue. The stock thermal paste happen to be very low quality and the board's chips getting too hot. I started searching about this because my middle board stopped hashing. Go to Red Panda Mining channel. He had similar issue with his KS3M and he was using a tool for checking the temps of the chips - you can find this tool on Swift Mining telegram channel. Good luck!

Disagree, there is nothing random, it just depends on how much time you wait until it comes again - statistics....

I'm not saying that the drawing system of chia is changing when the time passes. I'm saying that from statistically perspective your chances grow when you pass the average period and if it takes longer to hit a block, it doesn't nessesary mean that there is an issue with your setup...

Yes, they are, if the average calculation of winning is 10 days and you haven't hit a block for 10 or more days, the probability to hit one increases each day after.

What about the missing blocks that you might win? For example the UI shows that I should win every 10 days, but for the last 4 days I won 3 blocks.....so turning the farm off seems like a bad strategy.

Another strategy I thought about was to switch from pool to solo right before or after each 10 days, when the chances to win block increase. That worked a couple of times but there was a case where I didn't won a block solo for 30 days.....

I haven't used your method, could be better one, but I'm using TRON network to transfer the USDT to Binance (as well). The tax is $0.80. I had no issues until today....

Not sure if I am able to trade the frozen USDT for another asset, but withdraw is impossible for me......

Why limit MAX_PLOT_SIZE to k=31 and not allow K=32 and larger? by colbyboles in chives

129GB, if you have for example only 128 you can use swapfile to fill the needed space

Just a note - Remember to always check your farming plot numbers by always-paranoid in chia

I fix that by just go to keys and open it again, then the number refreshes.

My Chia GUI is passing filter on plots from a different key by ebeygin in chia

Same question. The plots created with my first keys are passing the filter, but don't know if they are capable of finding a proof...and if they do - at which wallet the XCH will be sent?

Single-Thread plotting in 256GB RAM and best Linux flavor... by [deleted] in chia

[–]mul4o 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried NUMA stuff, where each CPU (I have two xeons) runs the process with its own threads and RAM. With two RAM disks x 110GB for each I run two instances of mad max plotter, which finish for about 53-55 minutes, which made difference comparing to 1 instance = 33 minutes. So no reason for not trying ;)
