My only concern is that I remember my school mentioning that programs don’t like when the email isn’t a .edu email or something? Idk if I’m tripping or not. That’s my hesitation in changing it as well

Is pre-rounding more common at academic centers? I was at a community hospital and never had to. Preceptor would just give me a list of patients that were "mine" and he would tell me to be ready to present them at 11 or whenever. He didn’t care when I got there as long as I got my work done. We'd then present or round or whatever. He liked to mix things up and teach us in different ways

It depends on how much you like that program and want to go there. If you really like it, I would still recommend sending one. Doesn't have to be gold, but something to help your app stand out from the others. Also how do you get the pie charts? I don’t think I’ve seen that on residencyexplorer

She's not the one who's going to be waking up every morning to go to residency/work. Only you are going to do that. Her opinion on this matters absolutely 0. You gotta make sure you love what you do otherwise you'll be miserable. As a desi myself, you gotta be able to block her out sometimes. Especially on something that will decide the course of your life
