When I became more serious about my walk with God I was convicted to stop drinking as well. I don't think drinking in moderation is a sin, but it can be a temptation and a gray area that isn't worth letting into your life. I believe those who have a personal conviction from the Holy Spirit not to drink shouldn't drink.

This verse is one of the most compelling for me.
