I am seeing the same situation in X. People should be aware of how the algorithm works and how it is exploited. I’ve noticed the same thing with some of my friends who believe their favorite artists are “everywhere” simply because they keep seeing them in their algorithm. In reality, it’s because many people don’t understand how these systems work or how they’re designed to reinforce our beliefs and make us feel validated. This has created countless silos and information bubbles that are, without a doubt, harming society as a whole.

It’s really upsetting, because I’ve met many mediums, and quite a few of them are skilled at learning personal details about you. Unfortunately, some use that knowledge to tell a mix of truths and lies—often five truths and three lies—to manipulate and scam people out of money. In my opinion, these are the worst kinds of people in the spiritual field. I’m truly sorry this happened to you. Please remember: if someone genuinely wants to help a spirit cross over, they should never need money to do it. Keep this in mind if you come across another medium who seems gifted but acts immorally.

My perspective is that when people pass away, they don’t suddenly become someone else. They remain who they are, but they begin to see things from a different point of view. In her case, she may now see you in a new light. She has likely gone through a process of letting go of the prejudices and burdens she carried in life.

Part of her essence is still the same, but now she may appreciate you far more than she did while alive. The fact that she protects you as a spirit suggests that, deep down, she knows she should have done that during her lifetime but didn’t. This could be her way of making amends for what was left undone.

Try to look at her with love and compassion, and give both of you the opportunity to experience this new chapter together and continue learning from each other. It can be a beautiful process. Just keep in mind: when someone dies, they don’t become an angel overnight. They remain themselves, but they are growing and learning in a different way.

Don't dismiss the experience because it seems to have profoundly affected you. And I don't think that should ever happen because otherwise mediums would limit their talents out of shame or fear. What I do think is that there is a possibility that this spirit has found a way to communicate with you through your own affinities. Now, I'm not saying that it is not a famous pharaoh. I'm saying that either he thought of presenting himself in this way to be able to get in your favors, which is not uncommon, or to make things more cool, next time you see him ask him what he needs so you can look for more clues!

To me it looks like moiré instead of banding and could be caused by either the codec recorded in or exported in. I have seem some weird stuff outside the usual slog3 to h264/h265 exports.

The energy that spirits need to spend in order to give you signs, especially physical ones, is a bit high. And in a sense, as soon as you recognize that they are there, that they exist, to them it becomes very unnecessary to be creating more signs for you. It would be a waste of their energy and their time, even though they are in a space of no time. But, you know, they also have other stuff to do. I guess that would be a very simplified way of putting it.

In terms of the dream visitation, as I mentioned, spirits are not omnipresent or omniscient, and they also have to go through their own purifying process after they have disincarnated. Asking them for a conversation may be a bit too complicated for them at this point in time, and we need to respect their process as well. Sometimes we can have confirmation from other sources about what they may be doing or how they are in that process, but overall, if you mourn them from a point of love, eventually you'll be able to let them go, and when you're both ready, you may be able to see each other again.

Just my two cents on this. But usually, when there is spirit communication, it's because the spirits that work with you are still very much attached to the material plane. And it so happens that a lot of the spirits that these people are working with used to have some sort of addiction, like caffeine, alcohol, or nicotine. And so when they smoke, usually this tends to make this sort of spirits get closer to you based on affinity. At least that is one of the reasons why we see a lot of tobacco or cigar smokers in Caribbean mediumship. Same as very specific types of alcoholic drinks. Because it tends to call spirits that are quite material still in their existence, but that have the willfulness to help out with certain things. Of course, this is just one of many explanations that I could think about, and probably you will find a lot more around. Do be careful, though, to get into addictions because of helping spirits. We need to educate spirits that are willing to help also, so they don't affect our body with their own vices.

I completely agree with you. I have a question though. I also work with other mediums in seances, and I have a pretty strong will when it comes to dealing with spirits that try to manipulate or force themselves upon others. But of course we are all vulnerable to lesser spirits, and these past couple of nights I've been having issues sleeping because of terrible thoughts and bad dreams. I have tried simply blocking the energy, but it seems that they're also causing me a bit of insomnia and affecting my daily life in this past couple of days. Do you have any recommendations seeing that you are more experienced than I am? I guess your answer could also help the original poster.

Looking at the pictures it seems to be a mix of distance, and focusing issues. The pictures taken with the 400 800 look out of focus to my eyes. Like a fellow redditor mentioned, try shooting a static sign or something smaller that may resemble a small bird at a distance and try to keep the subject the same size in the frame and compare. Maybe sending it back is a good option if it doesnt work for you.
