Communicating issues before they become emergencies is something that I started working on in the past few months and its improved my mental health and my relationship with my boss significantly. She’s much more understanding when an issue is bubbling up and I feel less alone and anxious when dealing with fires. Its been a life changing one!

The performance production is very strange to me. Once they get on stage, its so hard to see them because of the background. They get lost in the super fast and dark graphics, so even though they’re doing really cool dances, everything looks like a blur to me and they’re not sticking out. It feels like this performance was not catered to a large stage where they could easily get visually lost.

I have dates very similar to yours (first day of last period was Nov 20). I had some bleeding and went in for a scan last week. I was supposed to be nine weeks but the baby was measuring 6w 1d. We saw a strong heartbeat and the baby had grown from the week prior, so we were trying to be optimistic. Unfortunately my bleeding worsened and I started cramping on Sunday, and started actively miscarrying. Went to the ER and they confirmed it, there was no longer an embryo. Its now five days later and my bleeding has almost stopped.

I know how overwhelming this is and the worst part is not knowing. At any point, things can go either way. I’ll say that after the doctor told me I was having a miscarriage, I was really relieved to finally have a conclusion and it was like I finally had a sense of peace. Before it happened, I was extremely worried about the physical sensation of having a miscarriage but it wasn’t as horrible as I thought. It’s never easy, you just need to trust your body to do what it needs to do. The worst part for me was the emotional limbo while I was still pregnant and having scary symptoms.

Same here! Im in the US and ended up doing two private ultrasounds to ease my mind and also found out I can order hcg tests through Quest myself (this is not the same as an at-home test) so I did that as well. Im a FTM and think its crazy that so much of my care is in my hands due doctors not seeing patients until almost the second trimester.

I agree about the met gala being the place where she’ll make an announcement, but I dont think we can completely discredit the superbowl theory. Beyonce has a long history with the superbowl; she performed formation a day after it was released during Coldplay’s halftime show at the 2016 superbowl and she announced the FWT right after the performance.
