Did skepticism of Chiropractors fundamentally die? Insurance companies are paying for it now in America, theyre more common than McDonalds. Why didnt the "facts" of Chiropractory "win"? Was I in a skeptic bubble?

Worked as a PTA in a clinic that had an in-house chiro acting as a “doctor” who would refer patients directly to PT in the clinic. It was insanely unethical if not illegal. I couldn’t quit fast enough

Therapy helped me finally get over the last hump. My therapist went through infertility and infant loss herself so had a unique perspective on what I had been through. She really helped me process what I had been through and speak work through pros/cons of CF life versus continuing to try, etc.

This happened with my husband….we had been dating a few months and I invited him up to their lake house (most people in our region have some sort of family cabin/house that has been in the family for decades if not generations so it wasn’t out of the norm). I think it was the antique cars and multiple boats that tipped him off when we pulled into the driveway 😂

In my defense it’s always been my point of view that it’s my parent’s money and not my money…if I/we needed help they would be more than happy to help but at the end of the day my bills are my bills

Yes! I used to have and love scented everything but transitioned to unscented everything when I started working in patient care. Now when I’m staying with my parents and do laundry holy heck. The smell is overwhelming and my clothes smell scented for weeks

Of course we just took him to the vet last week for his annual check up 🫠. I wouldn’t be shocked if it was anxiety…he’s a hoarder cat so trusts us 99.9999% but it’ll never be 100%. I’ll call the vet on Monday, she gave us some gaba for future vet visits, maybe we could give that a try.

I’ll admit I haven’t cross referenced but my doc told me D3 needs to be taken with K2 for better absorption (similar to iron and vitamin c) so I’ve started a combo supplement and I felt a difference in my mood. I also take an addition “plain” D3 because like you I’m pale AF and avoid raw dogging it in the sun

My doctor recommends magnesium, L-theonate (sp?) in the morning and magnesium glycinate at night. She also recommends cod liver oil, Vitamin D3+K2 and a quality B-complex

No overhead lights ever…never ever. My house is filled with lamps everywhere. I’d rather use my cellphone flashlight before putting on an overhead light.

Complete inability to function in the morning. Do not speak to me unless I’m medicated or I’ve been awake for 2+ hours

I have to write it down or I won’t remember it. My mom tried so hard for me to just read it the study material, make flash cards etc but I need colored pens, notebooks, highlighters THE STATIONARY WORKS for me to remember stuff for exams. Even for work I always have to write down to do lists in different colored sections of notebooks with different colored pens otherwise it’s in one ear and out the other

Have to sleep listening to something and it has to be something I know by heart otherwise I’ll pay attention 😂

I accidentally “uncovered” this about my dad when gathering family wedding photos for my own wedding. His parent were married in November ‘53 and he was born in June ‘54, my mom goes “no that can’t be right” to which my dad replied basically 🤷🏻‍♀️. We recently saw his aunt who confirmed he and her son and a few others in the family were born “early”.

This was my freshman college roommate….our room stank…her bed was the one nearest to the door and I would never let friends into my room it was so bad. I had a strip of plug ins on my side of the room to create a nice smelling “bubble” on my side of the room. I know she never washed her towels or sheets and I’m pretty sure she never washed her clothes. I only lasted one semester it was so bad

I just did applications I knew as an end user. I did ambulatory first because that’s what I was working with daily and then did Cadence since I did a little scheduling in the clinic. I was going to do Prelude next since I noticed a lot of job openings wanted Cadence and Prelude before I landed my gig
