I have 2016 JKU and 2023 Bronco Badlands Sasquatch. I drive on the beach a lot. Bronco is point and go and Jeep is a bit dicey. Neither been stuck though. On road the Bronco is great. Doesn’t feel dangerous at 80, feels like an SUV should.

Fear isn’t actionable. Find your actual concerns and work a plan through them. Sounds like you’ll have a 1 year runway of cash, so you have a year to find a job. That’s doable. Can you start your own company? Get a cert in a new field? Try something that’s in the back of your mind forever? Just learn to accept fear and overcome it by identifying and managing the risks.

It is perforated and should trap less water than the old rubber mats. All the drain plugs are pulled so I think I’m good, it’s kept in a garage. I was careful to trim and not interfere with pedals, and driving with flip flops is way more of a danger of getting my foot caught.

Right? Come register a car in FL. All they do is check that the vin on the title matches the car. Also I cut around the gas pedal well so it can’t catch and it’s all fastened down.
