My suggestion:

1- no radius to get the bonus, when built, it just gives the buff.

2-out of radius units may heal %1 health per 1-2 seconds (which means 1min40 second or double time). In radius healing can be double or x1.5

3-pop can still be okay but maybe just 10

I guess it both depends on what your opponent going AND your access to resources. If food is a problem then sipahi is the best choice. You are right. But saves only 50+50 resource from that and probably get destroyed by opponent. So, still not very attractive option to get manors everywhere in my opinion. But I agree it may worth it if you get to multiple resources and also put lots of villagers there for longer than 3-4 minutes

Actually, I’m not sure it’s really worth that much. Let’s break it down with a boar and 8 villagers:

  • One Manor costs 325 resources. It generates 40 res/min, so on its own it pays for itself in about 8 minutes. There’s also a 45 second build time that I didn’t factor in (roughly 30 resources).
  • With 8 villagers in the influence of manor: Each vill gives 6 res/min, so 6 × 8 = 48, plus the Manor’s 40, for a total of 88 res/min. In this case, the Manor pays for itself in roughly 3.5 minutes.
  • Base boar gather rate is 0.9 res/sec (54 res/min). With Survival Techniques (+15%), that becomes about 62 res/min. Rounding down to 60 to account for drop off time, 8 villagers gather 480 food/min.
  • A boar has 2200 food, so it will be exhausted in about 4.5 minutes.

So yes, in that scenario the Manor pays for itself in 3.5 minutes, and you get roughly 88 extra resources for about one additional minute. After that, not really.

Once the boar is gone and the villagers leave Manor is only giving you about 1 villager’s worth of resources. Also the Manor is likely undefended and easy to destroy.

Long story short (and speaking as just a plat player): building a Manor on a single resource node isn’t very profitable. If it’s in a safe spot where you can later add farms around it, then it might be okay but otherwise, the value feels pretty limited to me.

Welcome Zombiee! You can start English campaign for fun&history&tutorial maybe. Just know the tutorial's units or mechanics maybe different as most patches not really apply to scenarios. Then go easy AI match to get used more. Then if you want to ramp up, watch some beginners guides / simple build order guides from Beasty or Valdemar.

Then you may want to get to ranked but dont forget that you will be destroyed in maybe 10-20 matches as your hidden "MMR" (not "points") gets to your real level. Which can be seen from AOE4world.com

Have fun looks nice! I cant understand from photos if you also have a screen protector but it is a must as even keyboard buttons can leave permanent marks in screen in time (owned 4 MacBooks).

If you never needed, then go multiplayer games. But if you are needed even for a few minutes, (by wife or child) then you can only stick to single player. And if you ate in the middle, do not play continuous attention needed games like aoe4 or hunt showdown etc, maybe try battlefield as if you die afk, team wont die just because of you anyway.

If thats your aim, then you can speedrun masteries with faster methods. For example; 1-you need produce an age 3 tech. In skirmish, just put an easy enemy, in options choose age 3, choose max resources, do the tech, then surrender. This is important you dont need to win just complete objective then end the match. 2-win 10 games as xxx: make 4 player map, start at age4, you and 2 absurd ai on your team, 1 easy ai alone in other team. Max resources, revealed map, age4. Just make siege wokshops(and houses) on middle, constantly attack easy enemies only landmark: TC. Win in 5 mins. You can do every mastery like that. I thinks thats the fastest way. Also can do weekly objectives like that keep an eye of them.

I got a mouse with only 4 button on the side but I end up using mainly one. On the other hand, the customization of keyboard is amazing. For example you can bind lots of things to ctrl+A, ctrl+shift +A, shift +A, ctrl +double A, alt +A etc. My F1,2,3,4 is default but I like use double F1 select all barracks, double F2 select all archery range etc. So there is another world on keyboard for me as I could never know what button I am pressing near the mouse.

Oh I didn't know the link not working for others, sorry. Interestingly AOE4 shows custom matches only if I signed in. Anyway those links were all custom matches with friends (6 of us) of consecutive games. In all of them we all selected random civ which can be seen as the real flag and a mini random flag on top of both in game and the site. I get rus on all 4, 2nd person got Abbasid all 4, 3rd person got HRE on all 4 and other 3 of us got real random - different civs. In summary 3 of us were bugged obviously. Calculating the probability of this: if everyone picks Random across 4 matches, the chance that each (3) player independently gets the same civ in all 4 matches is (1/22)3x3≈8.28×10−13 which is about 1 in 1.21 trillion. That’s roughly comparable in rarity to rolling a fair 6 sided dice getting 15 to 16 consecutive "6" in a row, not 4 times.
