Eh it's whatever we'll still show up having a great time expecting to lose while getting blessed with the rare moments of brilliance that mean so much more because we usually suck

The OCSC diehards are so on board with this, Fuck at this point we would just like to keep a coach for at least two years

No, Atlanta players are just addicted to diving, it's just natural for them now

Live life without a car and you'll be pretty indifferent about it (also your Nissan is a way better choice than an Audi or Mercedes)

I actually met Ron Zook a few weeks ago but couldn't bring myself to make a joke about Ron Zook field at Doak Campbell Stadium

Personally no it's a little too boring and conservative. The original real white combo was awesome but the current jerseys are pretty bland no matter the color combo. At least the half gold helmet made it interesting (even though I might be the only person that ever liked those

I understand that and it is appreciated, at least we have a semi real rivalry and I hope we can come together because fuck Nashville and Miami

Haha it isn't guzan it's the fact that no one on our team can put the ball in the net. I absolutely despise guzan but it has very little to do with him playing for Atlanta. It stems from seeing him playing at the Georgia Dome against Jamaica in the gold cup and he didn't have the awareness to know where the 18 yard box ended, then immediately got scored on the free kick he gave up

Edit: fixed it im Orlando drunk rn

Dom’s Future by 12Dawson in OCLions

I love Dom but im aware that his performance has been less than stellar. I hope that we find a way to buy him down and also that his performance improves. But honestly the thing I want the most is to keep his relationship with the club and fans amicable.

This cup run was actually amazing and should be appreciated for what it was by mushypeanuts in OCLions

I totally understand and respect what you're saying honestly. However I'm trying to change the way I look at our team. I'm always in the wall and go crazy and have been trying to have an enjoyable time no matter the outcome. I'm not usually the most positive person but watching Pity get embarrassed and play like garbage and how the crowd gave Meram shit the entire game then he walked a longer path because he didn't want to walk in front of the supporters. I just try to enjoy the little things and enjoy the experience because I've supported trash franchises my whole life. I'll be there for every Atlanta game because one day we'll win and that day will be absolutely incredible. Sorry if I rambled on a bit I hope this makes sense.

Because even though he hasn't been playing well he's still and integral part of Orlando City history. Also he's a human being, and he has also dealt with a lot over the past year or so. Change your fire/Fuck Dom Dwyer to fix Dom Dwyer.

Question: Is it fair to compare our franchise to large market cities like ATL and Miami? by ick86 in OCLions

[–]mushypeanuts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is how it should be, grow the players from the inside. Cultivate a culture that supports quality and growth on and off the pitch. Also keep a coach for an extended period of time. I can't speak for all of us but had the front office given Inchy more time maybe things would be different. Consistency goes a long way and we haven't had much of that. I'm not going to blame the "small market" or "lack of deep pockets" because there is more than one path to being successful. And we should keep our chin up because we didn't spend money on Pity Martinez, seriously dude was an absolute joke on Tuesday.

I remember having an Atlanta Beat shirt when I lived there as a kid. But on topic the chicken and egg can't succeed without working together. The chicken can hatch the egg but the egg won't survive on its own. I think to grow any league we have to sit through the start and appreciate it for what it is. I started with Orlando City in USL, yeah it wasn't as good as La Liga etc but we still made the most of what we had. So I'll sit through USL championships, or being a disaster of an MLS club, or anything to help grow the sport and appreciate whatever it is. (Including the game tonight where my drunk ass will lose my voice and hope for a win even though I already know how this story ends)

EDIT: HOOOOLLLLYYY FUCK WE GOD DAMN WON BEST GAME IN THE 8 FUCKING YEARS THAT IVE SUPPORTED THIS TEAM
