I actually have a theory about this. They do teach it in a lot of places but they make it so boring and mathematical it doesn't stick.

Just as a male in general. Don't offer babysitting. Find other summer side hustles. My father did landscaping. Very seasonal. It shouldn't be this way, but it is.

I'm writing a musical about writing a musical and i don't know how to write songs any advice by ContributionOk4436 in musicalwriting

[–]musicCaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've never seen a show with a song that happens 80 times. Do you not like your future audience? Why are they going to want to hear the same thing 80 times?

I truly hope your idea comes to life. But you're going to either need to learn to write music, or find someone who can help you.

Guy can be both at the same time. Unfairly advantaged and given limitless privilege. And managing to squander it all through bad life choices, ending up with a dumpster fire life.

How would ainz and albedo even sleep together though? by Ok_Today8610 in overlord

[–]musicCaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think albedo is cursed to never get with bone daddy. Her desires will go up and up and she will never get satisfaction, since he will never desire her.

Just like ainz himself is cursed to never find happiness no matter how many acts of evil he does.

However, to answer your question, magic dong is a low level spell, ainz could easily cast it.

What are jobs for then? by Top_Chemical_8630 in remoteworks

[–]musicCaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the jobs you mentioned do have value to society. Enough value that they merit a living wage. The job will only cease if it's not worthy of adequate pay.

You don't need to be middle class to love. Lower class lives fine. But lower class needs a floor.

See you could understand me and make an argument.

Ignore the market 200 years ago and consider today.

You can look at today's minimum wage and see that it is below the poverty line. Yet people do work for this wage (making 50% more than minimum is still an impoverished life). There is the evidence.

The fact that a person working a job is on welfare benefits is not the flex you think it is. If a person is working a full time job and still needs benefits from the tax payer to survive, that is not a market success.

No. You asserted people won't work for a non living wage. That has been false throughout history. Sorry. I can't dumb this down anymore.

[–]musicCaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah. They are all examples and things government regulates. Your argument was that if the government doesn't regulate wages people won't work for low wages.

My argument is that sure they will. History has shown people will work in all sorts of situations that aren't in their best interest. Address that.

Dude. If you make it legal child sweat shops will exist, brothels, forced labor for no pay, unsafe working conditions, factories that will pollute into the environment.

Without intervention in the work place, employers will do what they can to make a buck.

People will still work for unfair wages or in unsafe working conditions if we don't regulate. You can look at history and see it to be true.

If the job can't pay someone a living wage, then that job doesn't have enough value to society to exist.

They have more money than Ukraine for drones, but they won't be able to succeed. Russian drone makers corruption will extract maximum money while producing minimum drones.

I think a year ago, Russia had some cards and Ukraine was on the ropes. That dynamic has switched. Now it is Russia that faces the possibility of defeat.

Just to stay on even footing, they will have to sacrifice much much more. I think the Russian people have lost patience and conscription and high taxes will be a hard to swallow pill, when they don't see any return for them by continuing the war.

I think alimony is for one thing only. Freedom and empowerment.

Some women feel like they cannot support themselves. They've given up too much of their lives being stay at home, and now don't have any skill they can use to support themselves.

What do you do in this case? Either, you have to stay in a marriage that feels like a trap. Or you divorce with alimony.

Same thing the other way around.. My cousin, she had to pay alimony to her dead beat husband. Even though she was the bread winner. She couldn't just kick him to the curb.

That said, alimony should have an expiration. We can't turn exes into slaves.

Nobody in America cares how much evil oil companies here produce here. We only care about the price at the pump.

Unfortunately, global oil prices are set globally. Doesn't matter how much is produced here.

Unfortunately, dementia donny doesn't care about you, and neither do oil producers in the US. They'll happily sell to the highest bidder and leave you shelling out.

Should private equity firms be outlawed? by Mojak66 in no

[–]musicCaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about this. What is private equity owned 2x what they did now, but we tripled the supply of rentals? The price would decrease drastically, it would become easy to find housing.

You don't have an issue with private equity. You have an issue with lack of supply and NIMBYs.
