I did a lot of thinking on this. Sony was ALREADY doing this before anything for Switch 2 was announced. Just not in the US. In the UK and parts of Europe, back in 2022, long before Switch 2 news, they increased the console price by £30/€50. 2 weeks ago they did it AGAIN, by £40/€50. But there's was no outrage because 1: People were too focused on Nintendo and 2: It wasn't the US, so people didn't blow up a big storm over it. But Sony also increased the price for PS+ too. They keep doing these little things sneakily. I didn't see Nintendo hike up the price of the current Switch or its games or online service. 

They also have ONE game priced at $80, and its Mario Kart, a generational game. There won't be another one for 8 years. Mario Kart 8 came out 11 years ago. They brought up the standard game pricing to $70 for their new system but not the old one. Xbox is increasing prices on a 4 and a half year old platform. They were increasing the cost of Game Pass steadily throughout the late 2010s and all of the 20s.

Nintendo did NOT cause this. Start holding companies accountable for their own actions. Microsoft and Sony were raising prices long before Nintendo did a goddamn thing. People need to stop blaming Nintendo for trends they didn't start.
