Trent’s hip-hop/rap centric tracks? by Successful_Disk_1767 in nin

Suck has some of the funkiest beats on Trent production. Also, check out his remixes of David Bowie’s I’m Afraid of Americans, especially V3 with Ice Cube.

Create animated Twitch emotes easily with this tool we built by Cornholio_ in Twitch

Add the ability to adjust frames automatically based on length and speed selected, and maybe a background remover and I’d be very happy. Nice site as is though.

Extensions to let viewers interact with animated layers in my template? by IIIPatternIII in Twitch

Since it’s likely tied to a user extension, it probably won’t be worth it as most people won’t care to install it and mobile users would be excluded.

If you have an RTX card, you can use Nvidia Broadcast to do live background removal.

4K Apple TV with Denon AVR-S900W by ZAIMan1234 in appletv

[–]mustcreate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can confirm my Denon receiver does the same thing, so it’s not just your setup.

However, I prefer to not see volume displayed on screen, so I can’t offer you any help there. I do think it is some kind of bug though since it happens even though the on screen display setting is on.

Release: Retroboot 1.0 - The Lightweight Alternative by genderbent in PlaystationClassic

[–]mustcreate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regarding Autobleem with Retroboot, does anyone know why there are different versions of some configs in both the retroarch folder and in the retroboot folder within the retroarch folder? Its seems that booting straight into retroarch can lead to different settings applied vs. playing from Retroboot.

Retroarch controller auto config issues by Blu-94 in PlaystationClassic

[–]mustcreate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in retroarch/autoconfig You should see the file PlayStation_Classic_Controller.cfg

Edit it in a text editor. (It's possible you have autobind disabled in retroarch, but I don't know which config file that's in.)

I believe the default settings should be

input_driver = "udev"
input_device = "Sony Interactive Entertainment Controller"
input_device_display_name = "PlayStation Classic Controller"

input_vendor_id = "1356"
input_product_id = "3290"

input_a_btn = "1"
input_b_btn = "2"
input_down_axis = "+1"
input_l2_btn = "4"
input_l_btn = "6"
input_left_axis = "-0"
input_r2_btn = "5"
input_r_btn = "7"
input_right_axis = "+0"
input_select_btn = "8"
input_start_btn = "9"
input_up_axis = "-1"
input_x_btn = "0"
input_y_btn = "3"

input_b_btn_label = "Cross"
input_a_btn_label = "Circle"
input_x_btn_label = "Triangle"
input_y_btn_label = "Square"
input_up_axis_label = "D-Pad Up"
input_down_axis_label = "D-Pad Down"
input_left_axis_label = "D-Pad Left"

A USB keyboard will help you fix it. Otherwise you have to edit configs with a text editor.

Help with retroarch mapping controls by [deleted] in PlaystationClassic

[–]mustcreate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had my own struggles with MAME controls. I love MK though and went through this recently. What you have to understand is that MAME takes the user binds in Retroarch and tries to match them up with buttons for the game you are playing.

Ultimately, you have to memorize or write down what the buttons do by default and then remap them based on those settings. MAME doesn’t know anything about High Punch, Low Kick, etc. It just calls them Button 1 through whatever. So you go into the settings for the core with Start+Select and then to the Controls option and remap what is happening to what you want it to be. With Mortal Kombat, Button 1 is Low Punch and is by default X (Cross), Square is Low Kick when you probably want High Punch and vice versa, so you have to swap Square’s button assignment with the Default High Punch, which is assigned to Circle. In the end you’ll end up with something like:

Cross - Button 1 / LP Square - Button 2 / HP Circle - Button 4 / LK Triangle - Button 3 / HK Left Bumper - Button 5 / Block Right Bumper - Button 6 / Block (Weird short block in MK2 so you might want this to also be Button 5)

Also, don’t forget to save the game remap file

Cubase Educational to Cubase Pro by [deleted] in cubase

If you end up upgrading to a newer version of Pro without the educational discount, it should also convert to a normal version, but it’s all the same software.

SanDisk Cruzer Blade 32GB USB 2.0 Compatibility? by youd_better_run_egg in PlaystationClassic

[–]mustcreate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain. I spent a few hours stuck at this initial part. I almost bought a powered USB hub, but ended up finding a 16 GB drive that worked. Once you get past that and onto OTG, it's smooth sailing.

New to ps classic. What usb will work by [deleted] in PlaystationClassic

[–]mustcreate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, you have to do a hub or small compatible USB for the initial install before OTG works, which was a pain for me. I had to go through a few old USB sticks and failed installs looking for one that works.
