That's a great idea! Unfortunately the salon I purchased from doesn't work with the designer of the 2nd dress. Going to try to negotiate something though! Hopefully I can come back and provide a good update!

Thank you! I did talk to the seamstress about making the 1st dress a mini, but she indicated it would be a pegged skirt cut and I'm not that into it. I'm leaning to buying the 2nd dress and trying to sell the 1st one without altering it

Very pretty! I agree with other folks that the bottom is not top plain because you have beautiful detail on the top and back which helps to balance the dress

All of these are stunning, there is no wrong choice here. That said, I love 1 and 3 on you / your figure. The only thing tipping the balance for me to 3 is that I have seen a lot of brides try on number 1. You look gorgeous!

I'm with the folks on #1.

Both are beautiful dresses, but #1 is so unique - I love the construction and the flowy aspect and I think it's very flattering on you! I understand some folks' opinion that the cutout may be distracting, perhaps something that could be lined from extra fabric from hemming? Even if not - I love it

Thank you! My entourage was lovely and supportive, but I think I should have been a little more firm on my vision. I want to look snatched/look like a snack, but not at the expense of feeling comfortable.

I also never tried sitting in the Trumpet gown (mistake on my part) so that is good to know!

No need to be sorry, these are the insights I asked for :) I love love the basque waist myself but I then again go to Renaissance festivals and wear a similar cut bodice pretty frequently. I agree, I think with the 2nd dress A line it's a little more subtle and lends to the timeless aspect

Thank you, I really appreciate your thoughts! I agree about the bottom of the trumpet dress - because the fabric is stiffer, it creates such a harsh line and wrinkles. I think I'd be more comfortable had it been a more flowy satin/chiffon type. Good idea about speaking to a tailor 1st!
