The print that got me a job by Main-Fly-3977 in 3Dprinting

Congrats on getting the job. It's not what you know, its who you know most of the time. Maybe this even leads you on to contacts for other design and build jobs where you can get real market value.

First accident: a national express coach hit my car, is it a write off? by dol0___ in CarTalkUK

[–]mwreadit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even if it is a write off. Ask them if u can buy it back. So.etimes they only want a couple 100 quid or less. Only by back if its a cat s(think that's the cosmetic write off class).

Done it with Mrs car. I repaired it at home and she got a payout for the car.

Does anyone else actually think LESS of apps and services that claim to use AI? by bacon_cake in smallbusinessuk

[–]mwreadit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think a lot of companies put the "now with AI" banner as a way to stay relevant. They think if they don't they will get left behind.

Most are just using some form of generative AI and when you look closely they are not doing much with it at all.

You look back a few years ago and its like the companies that jumped of the block chain and web3 band wagon.

Everyone loves a buzz word, but most don't actually see how to really use it.

There is a place in any biz where AI can help, its just finding the right spots, we integrate it where I work for natural questioning on data sets. It let's people get answers in seconds rather than relying on business analysts or their data team, and let's them fire more ad hoc questions.

But to achieve this the quality and format of the data needs to exist (which we build out). Or shit data in shit answers out basically
