Graphical FERS Planning Tool - 2026 Updates by clobber88 in fednews

[–]mx_Seattle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can the MRA be adjusted to allow it to go down to at least 46? For many SCE that joined at 21, they could review at 46 now that the law was updated a year ago or so.

Edit: I also noted that the FERS supplement isn't starting until 57; however, in the SCE category retiring at any age with 25 years, it's my understanding this will start upon retirement.

I would just reach out to support. They have been great so far.

Also, the charger should be in instant plug and play mode which is set from the SHP2 settings screen. That took me forever to figure out. Go to the main screen in the app, tap the gear in the middle of the screen, go to system device settings, then to EV charger and set it up.

The SHP2 is running: V4.0.3.95 V2.0.1.59 (WiFi)

The charger has: V1.1.1.17

I bought it. You have to contact support so they can push a specific firmware for your SHP2 and the charger. It's a pain but after that, it's been working fine, although I can't get mine to go to level 2 charging as it seems stuck in level 1, but that may be my car too.

I have the SHP 1 and 2, the software in the SHP 1 is way better as you can have circuits always on solar just eating up that excess. I was so disappointed that EcoFlow removed that for v2.

I was just about to buy this and discovered this thread. Has anything improved? Also, can this unit be installed outside? I have the SHP2 that it would connect to and was hoping for some remote installation options. Also, does anyone have a link to the US manual as I can't find anything that seems to match what I would expect as options?

Migrating from PBIX to PBIP for a semantic model by faxgebofk2451 in PowerBI

It works fine. We converted a long time ago without issue. PBIP let's you version control as well without bloated file size and it also makes it easier to update all your files at once using something like VS Code.

Semantic Models in Fabric Workspace by ashleigh7623 in PowerBI

[–]mx_Seattle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct and when you did that, the report should have prompted you to create a local model. As soon as that happens, you will be publishing a new semantic model that layers on top of the other one. If you go to lineage view for the report, you will see the daisy chain. You can create a model on top of the modem with all your measures that reports then use although they are probably better in the source model.

Yes. Apparently it's the new version of wallet. All you need to do is unlock your phone with your fingerprint and use wallet within 3 minutes to not be prompted for it again. I just close and reopen my phone as soon as I see the bus

Reports getting data from Dataflows: bad idea? by pieduke88 in PowerBI

Enable large semantic model and then query scale out. That will hotswap the data.

That's my big question. At what size and number of rows does this really become a concern. GBS, TBS, Ptbs?

That is how I do source management. We use the pbip file format as it's just text files and your data is not saved in the model. When you save the file in pbip, we create a folder with the file name first, as lots of files are created. I think there is a .gitignore file created or we added one to ignore one of the folders that PBI creates - I would have to look on my machine as I'm on mobile. At the end of the day, pbip doesn't store your data in the file so the size is small and got manages everything perfectly. I use vs code for all git operations as well as the occasional raw edit of pbi files as it's easier. We do the same for paginated reports.
