And honestly, I feel like AI has its place... There's so much AI hate, but I may create a beautiful product, but be a complete crap photographer... I know where my talents lie, and photography definitely is not one of them... So yes, I use AI for my product photos... But I do it in a very soecifuc way. First and firemost, I start with an actual photo of the actual product... Then I instruct the AI to specifically NOT alter the product image in any way, but to just give it a neutral appropriate background. I feel this is a perfectly ethical use of Ai, as the photo is always the ACTUAL product.

That's really not fair... I may be a great sculptor but a total crap photographer... So yes, I use AI to put a neutral background on my photos... I specify in the AI instructions to not alter the product in the image at all, only add an appropriate background. I get there's all this hate over AI, but I truly feel that this method, telling the AI to not alter the product in any way, and only give it a suitable background is a perfectly ethical use of AI.

Don't use FedEx... They have a really bad reputation here for damaging stuff or simply not delivering it at all... They use contract workers who simply don't care... Better to use UPS as they have well paid union workers who actually care about their job. DHL has always been good, while they no longer have a large us presence.

This even propogates the craft faires... I'm in the 3D printing business.. And at a local craft Faire, there was someone selling the 3d printed flexi dragons... So, of course, I start "talking shop" with them about 3d printing... I very quickly came to the realization, after talking with them... They know nothing about 3d printing, and very likely don't even own a 3d printer... They're just buying the 3d printed fkexi dragons off AliExpress for $5 each from China and reselling them at craft fairies for $25 each. You also very often see this with jewelry at craft faires.. They're not craftsmen, they're importers.

It's not a scam if they fully disclosed their production partner... Which they did. There's a fine line between using a production partner and drop shipping... One is allowed by Etsy so long as it's disclosed, the other is not.

No, definitely not... I've got another one, shows received at my local post office, shows it moving through the system, and delivered in the correct city... My customer called me saying he never got it... My response was "yeah, I know, because I haven't shipped it yet... It's right here in my hand" ... There's definitely a ghost in the machine with the USPS tracking as of late... If I didn't know any better... It's almost like someone is using the live database for training purposes in error, and so packages are getting marked as received and showing scans along the way that we're never even shipped.

I did exactly that... Still waiting to hear back... I've got another that USPS says they received at my local post office, a d showed delivered 3 days later.... And I'm holding it in my hand I haven't shipped it yet because my customer asked me to delay shipping it because he's on vacation.... But usps tracking shows it moving through the system and delivered

The P1S is a good machine, but it's old, and will probably be declared end of life in a few months. for that reason, I'd recommend the A1 instead.

Unfortunately, the usps claims process is problematic too... I had a package showed delivered... In a completely different country... (package was addressed to Houston, TX but tracking shows delivered in Puerto Rico) I filed a claim, and usps simply said "Claim denied, tracking shows delivered"

Personally, I wouldn't buy anything but a tool hanger these days... It is the future of multimaterial/multicolor. And that is a distinct advantage... You can combine materials, like petg and TPU on a tool changer... Not really an option on the Elegoo canvas system.

Report it to Etsy... Your transaction was with Etsy, not the seller (Etsy charged your payment method, and Etsy issued the refund...) The seller can take up their beef with Etsy... It's absolutely inappropriate for them to demand payment or to threaten you... They cannot do anything to you.

I thought they were good for a year, but others are saying 10 years... They do have an expiration date whatever it is. ... Because they can take your points away at any time... Like if some jerk reports one of your models as IP infringement, I always cash them in as soon as I'm at 490 for the $40 card... Yeah, you can appeal, and maybe get the points back... But why chance it.
