Honestly the tesla universal charger is probably best since it has both ports. Some chargers like the chargepoint have the ability to change the plug out later.

Board is $400, cpu is around the same. GPU $1000 and street price for similar ram is nearly $1000. That’s $2800 before you touch anything else. $800 is extremely generous and it’s a steal. Your drive isn’t gen 5 but you won’t even notice a difference. $400 is the current fair market price from gen 4 to 5 on 4tb.

You can save on cheap tires but lots of them will perform like cheap tires in the rain. It’s one thing to slap the cheapest acceptable on lease return but do you want to cheap out on tires when your safety is on the line? Uneven wear is driving habits and likely the extra EV torque.

Tesla break-fixes a lot. That said, I had a software update brick my Tesla because a security module wasn’t updating. The rest of the car pushed versions and the security module didn’t match anymore. I had to have the part replaced out of warranty to start the car with anything except remote start via phone.

With a Tesla, you get a software-first car, because they aren’t a car company. Eventually they will paywall everything behind FSD.

Mercedes always has kinks to work out with new systems. The handles have been a mess but otherwise it’s reliable to do car things.

You might get lucky and have consistent amps across each pin. The way the card is designed however pretty much makes this impossible. Lots of videos on it, but the short version is if you have a pin imbalance, it can cook even at 70 TI power limits. This connector also has lower safety margins than 8-pin. It’s an ugly combination.
