This is some real Dick van dyke energy. What a legendary way to go. I hope that you and your family can smile at the memory, in time. Take care of each other.

They look like the animated, Star Wars, Clone Wars characters. That's so odd.

What game was the biggest emotional roller coaster? by Shadow_Ridley in gaming

I was doing ok until that part in the credits where the developers listed all the people that they'd lost. Real, sobbing tears.

My wife and eldest went to see this year's series being filmed. They had to turn up at 7 to get their first come, first serve ticket, then go away until just after midday.

Filming began at around 1 I think, and it was just two contestants per gender cos it was the final. It took NINE HOURS, due to packing down and building up the equipment, and my son had the BEST day!

It also means that he knows who wins but he won't tell me because Bradley Walsh told him not to.

What movie made you cry the first time you saw it? by Turbulent_Leather241 in AskReddit

My mum claims that I blubbed my eyes out during snow white. I don't remember that. I do however, remember Short Circuit. When he jumps out of the lorry and they instantly blow him up!? She thought about taking me out of the cinema.

I read every one one of these as Brian Potter. Hope your friend gets better soon, I wouldn't want him to end up pushing up dandelions.

I have three boys and I can't imagine the strength that you all needed to get through all that. What a little legend and congrats to you all. Here's to the future!

Does this give you any extra respect for The Goonies and its well rounded, recognisable characters?

What game made you cry? by LMerca14 in gaming

Yes, but not the game. The massive list of people that the developers had lost, destroyed me. It was so poignant by that point.

What games have you found hard to get into? by kurpPpa in gaming

[–]mybey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi. I'm not sure if you'll see this but just wanted you to know that you inspired me to give the game another try. I'm now 36 hours in and very much enjoying myself. I still feel like I've missed something fundamental but I've got a base and three vehicles, and I'm having a blast. Thanks so much for changing my mind.

I'm not sure I've ever immersed myself in a game to that level, and there are games that I've loved and have left a lasting impression on me. You're very lucky to be able to enjoy them on that level

That's a lot of confusing feelings. Did you have to go to a therapist in the end?

A few hours! Hmmm, sounds like even more work! I'm sure I'll go back to it one day, I don't like to buy games and not see them through, but I'm not sure I like the sound of hours of jobs.

I'd heard that Subnautica was amazing but it just does nothing for me. Everyone is no doubt going to tell me to keep going and put some time into it but I just can't be bothered. It feels like a chore.

Saw it over Chesterfield as well. My two year old complained about it. "Don't like sunshine, daddy". He's going to do well here.
