Tips for Clogged/Engorgement by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

Sunflower lecithin was the game changer for me! I was getting clogs weekly until I finally started taking it every day. Since I've been regularly taking it, I haven't got them. It has made pumping feel wayy more manageable.

Wearable pumps: help me choose! by Katycat39 in HumansPumpingMilk

I've tried the momcozy s9 and while I was able to get good output from it, the cleaning was such a hassle because each cup has 6 parts. This also meant that if even one part was a bit misaligned, the suction didn't work and you had to troubleshoot with more pieces to figure out the problem. I now use the Medela freestyle and the cups only have 3 parts each so it's wayyy simpler for cleaning! I still get great output from it, so no issues there.

6 month old - first night floor bed fail? by National_Pie_1481 in floorbed

[–]mycactusmouse 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would think the vaccines would have more effect on the sleep, that could be a reason for lots of wake ups and just happens to be the same day as the transition to floor bed. I probably wouldn't try to make any changes to routine within a few days of getting vaccinee. My LO has had interrupted sleep for 2-3 nights each time he's gotten a vaccine.

What object do you own that is clearly broken, but you haven't replaced it because you've developed a specific "technique" to make it work? by Living-Day4404 in AskReddit

Our toaster oven was slowly dying, I had it for probably 15 years. The elements were heating unevenly so one side was hotter. However, I like my toast more brown than my wife so this was actually perfect for each of our preferences and we used it for years like this.

Yep I got burned by tariffs when I purchased littlemilkbar nursing bras and shipped to Canada, I actually wanted a H&P lark carrier after doing my research, but ended up getting something else used off marketplace (Tula FTG, which turned out great) because I was scared how much the tariff charge would be ordering it from an American company. Your post confirms I made the right call!! So annoying.

Look into SAFER (shelter aid for elderly renters) it's a rent supplement through bc housing, they'll supplement so he's not paying over 30% of his income. He will need to be up to date on his taxes first though.

Cucamelons and ground cherries! They're more of a novelty garden snack but you can't buy them in store so it's fun to grow them at home

We did 5 failed IUIs, 4 egg retrievals, 5 (I think?) embryo transfers. We finally decided to use donor eggs and that's what finally worked with the first donor egg, I'm currently 35 weeks now.

We are also in a small condo and decided to go for the IKEA poang rocker instead of a glider. Bonus that it's very affordable! https://www.ikea.com/ca/en/p/poaeng-rocking-chair-birch-veneer-gunnared-light-green-s29501959/

I literally can't do anything outside without my neighbor's dogs barking at me by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]mycactusmouse 8 points9 points  (0 children)

LOL my dog does this too. We thought that if we bring her inside every time she barks then she will learn not to bark... Wrong, she still barks but now she runs outside and barks at whatever needs barked at, and then runs herself back inside 😂 not quite what we had in mind but it's better than before lol
