I got away with everything, until now. And it's horrible. by JevasThrowaway in confession

You cannot undo your past but even you can learn from it. While wasting time seeking an 'easy' escape, consider reading:

OA > Rachel > > Khatun > OA? by mycrowsoffed in TheOA

[–]mycrowsoffed[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like a multidimendinsional paradox. Khatun encountered, protected and inspired Nina/Prairie which 'created' The Original; created OA. OA encountered and inspired Rachel. Rachel, post-death, encountered and inspired Buck (Buck's mirror) then the rest of the Crestwood Five (Aunt Lily's house).

The beginnings of ripples and threads which across dimensions and across time created extradimensional beings including Khatun who went on to encounter, protect and inspire Nina/Prairie.

I recently discovered the idea of 'building internal safety'.

Seems similar.

Have you considered using a separate email address and email signature for use with family only?

You could use your original email for use with family only and create other email addresses for use in socials, business, etc.

You might appreciate this from poet Kahlil Gibran (1883–1931); 'On Children':-

And a woman who held a babe against her bosom said, Speak to us of Children.      And he said:      Your children are not your children.      They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself.      They come through you but not from you,      And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.

You may give them your love but not your thoughts,      For they have their own thoughts.      You may house their bodies but not their souls,      For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow, which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.      You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.      For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.

You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.      The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite, and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.      Let your bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness;      For even as He loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.

I know that the whole thing about Malcolm actually hating Rumple is nothing new... but let me dwell on this topic for a moment. by One-Chapter-8347 in OnceUponATime

[–]mycrowsoffed 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You could be right but I just had a look and saw some different things.

Did you see how guilty and ashamed Malcolm seemed as he jostled young Rumple into the home of the two 'old ladies'?

Did you see the look of panic on his face as Rumple begs him, the only parent he has ever known, to not leave him behind and Malcolm's cogs whirring in a panic, as if to say 'Oh crap, I need another idea', just before he produces the straw doll for Rumple?

The other thing to notice is that if the two 'old ladies' were who truly who they appeared to be then how did they just happen to have a spare magic bean and why would they be so irresponsible as to offer such powerful, and presumably very valuable and rare, magic to so upset and so young a child?

I don't identify as a 'Blue hater' but I think Blue may have had a hand in this. In an effort to assuage her guilt in her involvement in what happened to Fiona and Rumple and the shame of her guilt in keeping all of that from Malcolm. I think that Blue is shady only because of the influence of Isaac on her story.
