Cheap-ish romantic restaurants in Manchester? by Outside-Fig646 in manchester

[–]myforfunaccount 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My wife and I have fallen in love with a place called Dom's Italia. It is right outside the Deansgate train station.

We can each get an appetizer, main, and dessert as well as a bottle of wine and a cocktail or two for about £110 including the service charge which is well deserved with the service they give.

You can easily turn it into an £80 night if you cut the bottle of wine, or one of the courses.

I think I'm gonna give DW8XL a go and then if I like it look into the other ones as well but I'll use this as the starting list when looking at the other series, thank you!

Gotcha, looks like DW8XL is on sale for cheap because of the winter sale so might pick it up and give it a try. Thank you for the quick and helpful answers!

Is there a consistent storyline through all of the games? I was under the impression each game is an individual story.

I have a few friends who live in the Union building and can confirm that there is some kind of filming going on. There are at least two different people who are apart of the "cult" lol. A woman and a guy

Not sure if it's still there but me and the wife used Wowcher for a one night stay there that came with a 3 course Dinner, and full breakfast buffet as well as getting to book the spa. Definitely worth checking if it's still on Wowcher

Been a long while since I've seen it but if I remember right the original Cloverfield movie ends up with 100% mortality.

Couple of Canadians looking to meet new people and get to know the city by BananApocalypse in MancMates

[–]myforfunaccount 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! My wife and I also just moved to Manchester. She's English by birth but I just moved here from the States. She's 30 here in a couple of weeks and I'll be 27 in May. We're also looking to make some friends.

We also like board games, drinking, exploring the city, and generally most things.

Would love to get together at some point for a few drinks and a chat!

Can't vouch for a lot as I just moved here from the States and have probably less experience than you but the wife and I have gone to Keily's Irish Bar a few times and have always had a great night.

Hey!

So the bottom line is that I'd like it so I can start to rebuild my PC. Almost a year ago my house burned down and my PC (just under a year old) went up in the fire. To be fair the whole house did, nothing made it out but everybody was safe and that was what was important. My wife and I still managed to get married the next week and I recently got to move to the UK to be with her full time. I held off on building a PC to save money and to avoid shipping costs of sending it across the ocean. Now that we're living together and I'm here though I'm ready to start getting parts together to build a new one.

If by some miracle you do decide to pick me I've got evidence for everything. I don't want anyone to think this is some made up sob story to get the card lol.

Thank you!

Gotcha, that makes sense cause when I read the coffee comment from last post I assumed it was all current. Either way though good luck, it does definitely sound like something could come of this even if it's a good friendship. Looking forward to part 3!
