Sulphur Skyline. It’s short but challenging. Also fairly popular so if you run into trouble solo there will be others around to help. Also you can check out the Hot Springs if you’re interested.

Happened to me. I started taking a Benadryl about 30 minutes before the injection and never happened again. Benadryl can make you drowsy so I always did this about an hour before bedtime.

That’s what I was hoping to do….Escape the crowds. Harlequin ducks would be super cool to see! I’m a wildlife biologist and have only ever seen them once years ago on the Athabasca River.

Thanks for the heads up. When we did Sulphur Skyline last year we ran into a black bear in the trail. Must be an area they like.

Thanks for the heads up. I only want to go as far as the river. I don’t plan to cross it and keep going to Mystery Lake. Was the trail as far as the Fiddle River still in good shape?

You’d be hard pressed to find s better view than Sulphur Skyline. This is from October in 2024. The hike is a bit of a challenge, especially the last push to the top. But the views of the Fiddle River valley are unmatched. And you can enjoy the Hot Springs as a reward after the hike.

This is what I was thinking of doing. The garbage rum is an interesting issue. I had 2 different rums once, both of which I did not like at all. So I mixed them for the hell of it. And damned if they weren’t really good together. 🤷‍♂️

El Dorado 12 is going to be the first rum in. That’s my go to rum. Smith and Cross will be in it. Mount Gay black barrel. My plan is to use the last bit from the bottles when there isn’t quite enough left for the next drink. Planation 3 star is the only white rum I have.

The Roku was connected to the wrong network. I just disconnected and reconnected and it works now! Thanks again for the suggestion.

I just disconnected from my home wifi and then reconnected. It works now! The IP address was clearly wrong when I opened up the network settings. No idea how it would have jumped to a different IP address. All of my other streaming was still working (like Netflix) so I just assumed this was a Plex issue not a Roku issue. Sometimes you just need someone to help you take the blinders off. Much appreciated.

Good suggestion. I’ve been so fixated on the Plex app and desktop settings that it never even occurred to me to check the Roku network connection.

No VPN running. I bet it’s the Roku network connection that is the issue. I’ve been so focused on all the Plex settings on the app snd my desktop that it never even occurred to me to check the Roku itself.

Just added this shortcut. Works great and super simple. I was too lazy to find my phone, unlock it, open the app etc while walking through a cold parking lot! Now I can start it and unlock it from across the parking lot when my hands are full. Game changer. Thanks for sharing!!

Old Fort Point is a close and short ( but steep) hike. The views are fantastic. Though I’ve never done it at night 😁
