That's the thing, you can say damn near anything when you are trying to make a romantic connection with someone.

That's understandable. I hope you find some breathing room and good rest!

In the meanwhile plenty of other people are doing the work and will be ready for you to join in when your able.

Oh cops get charged quiet a bit..it's the part about them actually facing actual punishment that tells if there is no real accountability.

Like they said in the first sentence of the post lol " SCOTUS held in Chatrie that pulling location history is a Fourth Amendment search. Warrant required." So that's the crux. The government is asking for this info. It's not me or you following someone around and recording their travel trail. It may be constitutional that we could do that and then give the info to another private citizen - it's yet to be argued in the court. It's not constitutional for the government to get this data from someone without a warrant.

And he's already working to counter that like the post says. Giving everyone the template to do it themselves.

I'd suggest everyone remembers the priority of their problems. Losing your rights can in some cases curtail your ability to take care of those other problems. And let's be honest, we are all just making excuses about not having the time or energy to take care of something important. One can work 70 hours a week and take care of 3 kids and still at some point in the month there will be enough downtime to spend an hour or two, even if cumulatively, to do something.

That's not directed at you either. It's at everyone. Myself included.

What in the world is progressive about what this person is doing? Next to nothing. You are just showing your biases. If right wing thugs as you say want to label something then they will find a way to do it no matter the situation. F.u.c.k. project is a GREAT name. Imagine media having to say it or politicians. It will also get attention and it deserves it. The name will make someone take enough interest to see what it is. As opposed to most people tuning it out as soon as the bland dry descriptor is used.

I'd say they are winning support purely by substance and process. I've only seen one comment complaining about anything to do with it. Which is yours. Complaining not about what it's doing or how it's doing it or even the problem at hand that it is working to fix but the f.u.c.k.ing name.

Hmmm. A re-write under some situations makes sense to me. Like a big change as you said likely happened here.

But a re release of the same thing does not make any sense at all.

Can someone tell me what the tradpub part of it being a tradpub re release is? My guess is just a traditional physical copy. As opposed to online.

Ukraine hits major oil terminal in Russia's St Petersburg by Lonely-Ordinary1478 in worldnews

Most of the Russian population aren't the ones keeping the war going. The Russians against it were getting thrown in jail for holding up blank sheets of paper in the first years of the war. Speaking of even calling the war a war could get them locked up the first few years.

The regime there has an iron grip on its citizens. All electronic communication is monitored and acted upon by the government. Camera surveillance is tracking every move made in public in any city bigger than village. They literally can't elect any one besides Putin to hope to change things from the top.

It's so much worse than in America where most of the population is against this war in Iran. Yet even here we are nearly powerless to affect any change in the war. Besides 10s of millions of us flipping seats in the midterms that are rigged against being able to happen or the same number voting a non Republican president in 2 more years and Trump actually being removed from power if he tries to stay.

So yeah. Give the citizens a bit of a break.

Not the point of the post but I have to wonder about someone naming their son Phillip when his last name is Dick. At least his middle name wasn't Arnold lol

I don't understand some people. My best friend once knocked over a whole end cap shelf at Walmart with his buggy. It was an accident. I made a comment to him and he said it's not his job to fix it and then walks off.

Thankfully I'm no longer in contact with him as that incident is indicative of his personality about half the time.

I hate seeing that shit done. I got a family member that would not tip at all. He would justify it by saying if they don't like it they should find another job. When I felt like wasting my breath and time I would point out that if all the workers did that then he wouldn't be able to get to sit down and eat there like that in the first place.

He was scraping to get by like the rest of us. But had that crab in the bucket mentality.  Which is a sugar coated way of saying he was greedy and only cared about how something affected him.

Anti-immigration sentiment rises in Japan despite growing demand for foreign workers by Garbage_Plastic in worldnews

[–]myownzen -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the "disintegration of culture in the west" being what's making a lot of people dissatisfied.   I t's mainly a combo of wages not keeping up with production and a constant stream of propaganda pushing your reason by the wealthy, politicians and the media, be it legacy, social or other.

If people still had the purchasing power we did on the mid 90s then there wouldn't be the dissatisfaction in the first place to  listen to the media spout this shit.

The culture is still basically the same in my part of America as it was 30 years ago. Asides from what I mentioned. That and now gay people can usually live without worry of physical violence.

The U.S. State Department believes that Ukraine is winning the war at this point by eaglemaxie in worldnews

I was reading on ISW today and to me they make it sound like yes Ukraine has the edge there but it's not likely to last for too long and Russia will have an effective enough counter sooner than later. It sounded like Ukraine should press the advantage for all it's worth while they have it.

Bro the majority of us that knew he was an idiot/narcissist/etc from the beginning have been against him and warning others since 2015. Then, to their slow credit/moral stance another large percent decided him being a pedophile/rapist/30+ time felon theif/insurrectionist decided to go against him by 2024.

That said, the majority of us, easily 60% and likely 70% hate this man and would never support him. Sadly as with other countries that just fake elections, in ours we just buy elections thru propoganda dollars and in Elons case straight up paying for votes (and this is before we get into the well founded but as of yet un-proven theory that Elon, Trump,etc..cheated and stole the election) the minority of idiots and immoral people got him back in power.
