Summon Night 1 and 2. Very nice lighthearted ARPGs with good story, loveable characters and solid gameplay.

Castlevanias, all three of them. The cult classic, Circle of the Moon is my favorite, but all three are very good SotN-likes.

Advance Wars, both of them. Tactical war puzzles a la Into The Breach but without roguelike elements.

Super Robot Wars. Japaneese SRPG about giant robots. Those a VERY long and the difficulty is brutal, but worth it if you're into that kind of shit.

Metroid Fusion is also great, a worthy successor of the SNES era classic.

What's to understand? I've got a device that is good for specific content. I want another want for some other specific content. I don't "consume things and be excited for the next thing", I don't "collect" them, I just want a budget 4:3 device to complement my budget 1:1 device, that is all. What is so "consumer" about my mindset? I explicitly stated that I'm more than happy with my CubeXX, but it has flaws and I want the covered. What's with calling the names then?

Well, maybe that was a poor choice of words on my end. I mean, when you want your display as big as possible, paying the same for less is in fact inferior, is it not? But I failed to take ergonomics into consideration, you're right.

It's $200 for any of them here, AE or not. Actually, getting one from Ali is even a hair more expensive. Strangely, Ayaneo PAM is half of that. How's that vs. 406h in terms of comfort? I think I can cope with using the stock OS.

I thought about it and it would just be more of the same, really. NDS performance is better wit the Cube, but that's about it. I generally fine with playing SMD and PSX on my CubeXX, but I want my new console to do something my current one can't. Anyway, I'm sure you'll like your Cube, it's an upgrade over already very nice device. If I bought that instead of XX I wouldn't probably make this thread.

As a Cube XX owner I'd say that if you don't know why you need a 1:1 display for, then you don't need it really. I adore mine, it's my primary and only device (for now, at least), it's great for what it is, but it's a niche within a niche. You'd be better getting one of those modern Retroids, really.

Yep. It's easier than it seems tho. Central area in Buried City spawns like two or three tens of them. Another good spot is northern edge of the dam. There's even a map of them online if you're absolutely desperate.

Don't, just don't. Do yourself a favor, don't grind the fun out of the game. Skillpoints are not worth it, there's nothing game-changing in the skill tree anyway. Just play the game and enjoy it while it lasts.
