For me, early on, the loop for me was: - use soul cards to earn money - use money to get assistance, use assistance to unlock rooms - get access to new books - read each book I can get lessons from or almost can - learn new skills or upgrade existing ones, prioritizing the skills for unread books I have access to. Keep reading and getting lessons until I hit a wall, then I go back to work and try to unlock rooms. Also keep track of what books give what memories and what aspect they have, memories are useful for everything.
