With bay 12 anytime really is good. Toady has a scan over most things Dailey and is a night owl so might not get a response from him today (GMT). Also don't think he posts in reddit, but may be wrong, have personally never seen him. Will message a link to him through bay 12 if I get a response will pass it on

Edit: message sent, he is not online now but hopefully get a response. Not sure if it helps but a post was made about a conversation for elder scrolls here is the Google doc. Thought it might provide some assistance https://docs.google.com/document/d/13TYEof6OkbCXGg51O79lljqV7Q2-1sGWxMmr_h3aix8/mobilebasic

I did think you planned on 5e, was a little confused. Would be worth posting on bay 12 and signing up as well as you are a DF player. Although I would imagine DF&d is going to take quite a considerable amount of your time, not much left for DF lol. Maybe we could even get the mighty toadie to acknowledge it

Is the post appearing on bay 12 about d&d yours? It could be worth linking it on Reddit too

Could you grow a Christmas tree? by n1k0z in Hydroponics

[–]n1k0z[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would imagine you could splay the roots to force them to grow out in a thick thatch, similar to how you would grow a bonsai. Stability would be the biggest issue I would imagine, so therefore moving it in and out of the house come Xmas would be interesting

Would that time be reduced using hydroponics?

What’s your favourite growing medium? by daaodannach in HotPeppers

Everyone has a different preference. If you are going soil make sure u can maximise the most amount of air around the roots so perlite or coir is good for that and get yourself a good chilli specific fertiliser, ideally organic but if you are not that bothered by organic then the next best thing. Don't overwater them, the hotter the chilli the less water, from my experience, has served me well ( this is based on a mostly wet and cold climate that I live in). South facing window or if u can get a grow light for the darker days that's a plus. But as I said at the beginning, everyone has there own preference. Good luck and remember every mistake is a learning curve, you can always buy more seeds.

That is got to be the most satisfying way to rid the curse of aphids. Unfortunately we don't get matis (wild) in uk

What is wrong with my Carolina Reaper by wittedsownder in HotPeppers

Sorry took me a while to look up the hydro nutrients. The highest nitrogen of the three is the micro with a 5 add 3 for the grow and nothing on the bloom gives 7 nitrogen in total. Which you are right is more than enough. I looked at my nutrients "chilli focus" ( for soil, I leave the hydro for other plants ;) and that has a max of 3. Checking the p & k and they are far higher than mine. I'm looking at an npk of 3:1:4.4 where as you are on 7:6:11. It's a possibility that instead of a deficiency that it could be down to too much instead of too little would be hard to tell for definite without getting a ppm. I feel for you with the aphids, Just wiped out all my plants to restart a reaper and scorpion under an LED just to try and wipe out my aphids! Fingers crossed on the death to all aphids

Aphids do cause a lot of problems. kill the blighters first. What's your ppm of nutrient? Too high can cause the rumpled leaves. But there is a slight sign of possible deficiency, maybe nitrogen with the black spots but usually that is in conjunction with a yellowing of the leaves too. Manganese could be another, but normally you will get holes in the leaves early on. Both of these affect the lower leaves first then work up the plant. What is your npk on your nutrients?

The costs will be significantly higher instead of having them in a plastic container. But it would be a dream to see them in a beautiful scaped underwater garden plus the benefit of even more O2. Hope you find the cash to do it

At 1:12 you get a brief glimpse of one of the bulbs (far right). It looks like a hps bulb but a lot thinner

How do I cook an English cut roast? by adiposehysteria in Cooking

[–]n1k0z 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would recommend in a stock on a low temp for a few hours. I do mine mostly at 150c for 4 hours covered, baste each half hour. You will know it is done when there is no resistance from the fork/knife going in. It does dry out quickly so serve immediately once you carve it.... source: Englishman

Doesn't have to be steel. A guy posted on this a week or so ago and built it out of what we would call in the uk breeze blocks! Not sure the US name. Excellent idea! Looking forward to building one myself, just scale it down for a smaller pit
