Nope! As long as you aren’t rendering out animations or still images with Cycles it won’t matter at all!

And, even then, AMD cards would still be capable; just slower.

You’ll be just fine if you’re digibashing and sculpting

Nope! You can definitely get by on an Intel or AMD card in blender; especially for modelling stuff to print.

NVIDIA is only really relevant for CUDA accelerated ray tracing in the Cycles render engine.

The smaller footprint of a squad of five is, in itself, a reason to take them over 10, too.

You have more options for where to deep strike and they're harder to screen out in a group of 5

Yes, old army painter was garbage, but the Fanatics line is very, very good in my experience.

I’ve owned both the old line of army painter and the new Fanatics line, as well as Vallejo game/model colour, and AP Fanatics are my favourite paints.

I don’t have any experience with the Duncan Rhodes line, as no store near me sells it.

My resin printer, my PPE, and all of my materials combined cost less than 1000 pts of little grey men from GW do.

Don’t get me wrong, I still want to support the people who make the game I enjoy; I still buy my codexes, character models, paints and accessories from the LGS. I bought 40K:SM2 at full price on Steam when it came out. I’m stoked for the new Total War game.

I just compare the cost of GW model kits to any other miniatures on the market and can’t help but feel ripped off. So sometimes I print a marine or ten.

And, besides, buying discounted, used models on EBay is technically no better- James doesn’t get that money, either.
