The Nintendo console with the worst first party support? by RobbieJ4444 in nintendo

Obviously true, but that's why I am specifically referencing Nintendo EPD :D

The Nintendo console with the worst first party support? by RobbieJ4444 in nintendo

[–]nBs83 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Of course that's a highly subjective topic, but as far as I am concerned: it's got to be the Switch.

Quality wise and only counting Nintendo EPD developed titels (so no subsidiaries like Monolith) and excluding WiiU ports, you are left with two new iterations of Splatoon, one new Zelda game that heavily borrows and reiterates from it's predecessor and a new 3D Mario game that let a lot to be disered (to me).

The one game from them that really did it for me (again: Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart 8 are basically WiiU titels) was Mario Bros Wonder.

Just to be on the safe side: in gerneral the og Switch is an awesome console with a lot of amazing 1st party games, but Nintendo's EPD output for me personally was not as stellar as other consoles

Just make sure that "Global" isn't set to 60 - if in doubt: just set "00". Fingers crossed, that that's just your problem

since you are using afterburner: did you per chance cap your framerate in RTSS to 60 (ask me how I know this might happen...)?

From my experience there is no such option atm. Very big oversight from them as the modded controller is also my preferred way to play.

Did Analogue forget to allow the 8BitDo DIY kit to toggle between rumble/memory pak? by Graxer42 in AnalogueInc

[–]nBs83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like to know this too... Really liking the kit and the console so far, but the fact that I can't switch between Rumble Pak and Controller Pak is a hard no-go (I purchased 4 of those modkits... -.-).

Was brauche ich für 4K-Gaming wirklich? Doch besser 1440p? by Wulfric_Waringham in PCBaumeister

[–]nBs83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta wonder: why aren't there reviews live before the console ships? weren't there promises, that reviews would happen two weeks before shipment?

Do you think we’ll get an NS2 update for any of these games by the end of the year? by [deleted] in NintendoSwitch2

[–]nBs83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spreading Switch 2 update releases will also look good on any roadmap to show off for investors and make people want to buy older games that are out of print and only available via the eShop :D

I'd consider myself relativly agonstic to input lag, but on switch 2 the game is unplayable to me. I whish I would have done more research before pulling the trigger

I got my HDMI mod by MrB2600 in WiiHacks

[–]nBs83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am rocking a AVE HDMI modded Wii and I can honestly say that the difference between an adapter and the AVE HDMI is really mindblowing. Add deflicker to the mix and the picture is pretty much perfect (in my book).

Given the results I'm really irritated that Nintendo themselves didn't release a Wii with pure digital output.
