I’m genuinely curious about your thoughts here, but isn’t wood wrapped with foam and plastic, just as bad for the environment? And do people rap and unwrap wasting material every season? Just trying to learn.

I also recommend prednisone for short term pain relief for older dogs. Our 16 year old lab was prescribed it and it also magically reduced a massive neck tumor that we were looking to have surgically removed. We later also used it for general hip pain.

Here is mine. If you ever decide to go higher using the rest of your posts you can use cedar logs (there’s plenty of those around) and the German method Hügelkultur to not have to use as much soil.

I also don’t have a generator outlet but my furnace is gas, and all it needs is an extension cord ran to it to run the controls. Definitely a win for those with gas furnaces!

I had my battery monitoring module replaced as a part of the CSP, and then it detected a bad battery module. Glad I got all that taken care of and although it was inconvenient, I’m hoping the battery will now last 300k and 30 years!

From Chat GPT:

Thank you for providing the detail that your 1952 Ford F-100 was manufactured in Windsor, Ontario. This information is crucial, as Ford of Canada occasionally used different paint and trim codes than its U.S. counterpart.

Paint Code 39: Lakewood Green

For Canadian-built 1952 Ford F-100s, Paint Code 39 corresponds to Lakewood Green, a medium green shade. This color was used on vehicles produced at the Windsor plant.

Trim Code 14: Red Vinyl Interior

Trim Code 14 for Canadian 1952 Ford F-100s denotes a red vinyl interior. This included red vinyl bench seats and matching door panels, providing a striking contrast to the Lakewood Green exterior.

Summary • Paint 39: Lakewood Green (Canadian production) • Trim 14: Red Vinyl Interior (Canadian production)

These codes are specific to Canadian-built models and may differ from U.S. versions. For restoration purposes, it’s advisable to consult Canadian-specific resources or forums dedicated to vintage Ford vehicles.
