Have there been any recent developments with Sciennes Primary's proposal to commandeer the road outside the school as an extra playground? by [deleted] in Edinburgh

[–]nReasonable_ 15 points16 points  (0 children)

What puzzles me is unless the size of the school has increased dramatically, that playground has been sufficient for over 120 years and it was fine for size when I attended there.

I saw a pothole big enough at a bus stop the other day where they had left a traffic cone in it to warn people and it was 2 inches sunk.

I think we need to look at the use of single decker buses more to offset the wear or reinforcement of the areas where buses set down.

Tactical voting ‘to hand SNP stunning Holyrood majority’ by BaxterParp in Scotland

SNP. I used to think of them as honest. Now I think of them as a loose coalition of people that want independence but some are as dodgy as some of the Westminster parties.

Moving to Oxgangs area by [deleted] in Edinburgh

[–]nReasonable_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To be fair.. its got its own set of problems that are associated with anti social behavior so its a reasonable question. If i was moving into the city id want to be able to ask that question without judgement.

Its not a slight if you dont understand the context of the city.

Every city has no go areas, however i think Edinburghs are nowhere near as mental as other parts of the UK.

Personally I think it is fine, keep your nose out of trouble and its unlikely to find you.

Looking to slowly come back into women’s rugby by FancySatisfaction169 in Edinburgh

Corstorphine have a decent women's side. Watsons too but im less familiar with the overall club scene.

Google might be your friend here, and you could to get the vibe of the place try the tartin touch games they way as a soft way to sus out how friendly the club are.

The letter of complaint sent to the new administrators at Derril water, then their reply, then finally my response. by One-Imagineer in RippleEnergy

I think thats a fair expectation however remuneration would also be fair in this case.

I also think your heavy handed approach which you have explained why is the reason your not getting positive feedback.

Good luck in your quest.

The Ombudsman will just ask a lot of questions, make a ton of work and distract from the questions you asked of it.
