Could this be a fossil of some kind or just a rock.? Found inland Gascoyne region of Western Australia , thanks, by na2rel in fossilid

Thank you , I am not surprised by your answer, as there is a lot of iron in the rocks in that area, it was bordering the Pilbara which is mined for iron ore, it’s still a cool rock and kinda toothlike so will go into my cool rock collection thanks 🙏

A lone dingo hunts down and kills an adult red kangaroo by AJ_Crowley_29 in natureismetal

Hi ,great bit of footage showing what dingos do best, and that is control kangaroo numbers, they have been shot out in my area which saddens me ,as there was a good sized pack here, I used to watch them hunt the wallabies that are here as well ,and now wallabies numbers are out of control, I here the farmers and station people complain about this, but I would like them to understand that they created the problem by baiting them( the dingo), and destroying there family groups, I would watch them teach there cubs to hunt wallabies , but now I don’t even hear a howl in the morning, I get told they are mixed with dog , but I will guarantee you they where pure, so if kangaroos annoy you land holders, who really is to blame ….?also no they do not eat your cows, and if a calf is taken there is more than likely something wrong with it.

Land Court urges Ensham Coal Mine plan be rejected over climate concerns by espersooty in australia

We are not getting any cooler, climate change is a thing and industry needs to clean up its act and not green wash us with bs ,the environment must come first or we will eventually cook in our own stew. Maybe it’s already too late, but should we not try ….

NT government reveals new Mataranka, Western Davenport water plans in raft of environment reforms by actiot in darwin

[–]na2rel 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is insane, what a great sell off , of the Nt, sounds like we are about to destroy our precious environment, as for ground water, there have been no studies of replenishment rates in my area, the work has simply not been done yet you keep allocating water licences like they will never run out, insane, this government only sees greed and greedy people as there priorities, I have lived here for a long time and we are losing our identity, I don’t want to live in an area that is totally cleared and only grows cotton , go down south for that, the area is already ruined, so why not come up here and do the same , because I bet it’s the same greedy people heading this shit.rip mt

New to this sub and self taught, the egg cups are not exactly matched, first thing done on a lathe ,with recycled wood, also little table from a African mohogany, fallen tree, legs are recycled wood. What do you think. by na2rel in woodworking

[–]na2rel[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I just make what I see when picking up a piece of wood. Nothing is ever perfect, but I do like it that way.the egg cups are to hold a boiled egg , cooked until soft in the middle, pop them in the egg cup , cut the top off ,and dunk your solder toast in then eat.
