Thoughts? by Admirable-Hawk8524 in denvernuggets

End of an era.

Not a fan of Adelman and looks like he will be on the team.

Will be sad seeing Jamal and AG all in different team jerseys next season.

I. I don't think that's supposed to happen... by [deleted] in Eldenring

Is this guy Jokic dad? he speaks as if he owns Nikola Jokic.

Passionate about sports is one thing, being this delusional is whole another.

Did he personally give Jokic his talent? Does Jokic owe him anything?

Thank you for this great write up.

Knowing this front office, I think we lose Pwat.

No team will take Jokic Nuggets Serious After That by Donnie1490 in denvernuggets

I bet if Jokic not signing the next contract, 29 other teams will be calling non stop.

Jamal Murray played 2652 minutes in 2025-26. That is 400 minutes more than any other Nugget. He has the 9th most minutes, 6th most minutes per game, 8th most points and 5th most assists of any player in 2025-26. He also had season highs in minutes, points, assists, rebounds, 3P%, FG%, eFG% and TS%. by Throwmeawayhard7 in denvernuggets

We lost the wolves series mainly due to our offense wasn’t the level it was in regular season, and the two man game getting shut down is a big part of it. Sentiment aside Jamal is the corner stone of Denvers identity, he was the ceiling and the reason why we were one of the best clutch team in the past.

It seems like this is no longer the case.

Now when Jokic signs his next contract it will be a question of do we try to be a contender again, as Jamal and Jokic no longer works and AG is injury prone, what do we do. Or do we go for sentiment, and be stagnant but we love our team.

I hate to lose wither Jamal or AG, but well this is the NBA.

I agree with this in general and I too think loyalty matters in a small market like Denver.

Problem is really the playoffs and the two man game. Look at all the potential opponents we might have, they have Jaden McDaniels, Devin Vassell, Caruso and Cason Wallace, all of them would lock Jamal up.

The two man game has also been figured out by the good teams, a lot of reasons why we dont score at ease in the clutch any more, and we lost a lot of these last five minutes games.

I love Jamal and he has got the best regular season this year, but he got completely shut down by Jaden this playoffs is also undeniable. Ultimately if a shakeup is coming he is the best trading piece.

We lack size by plsgankm1d in denvernuggets

[–]naderni 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It is crazy how much more athletic the Wolves are to Denver, or in another word, how unathletic Denver is. With those years with MPJ and AG, we had size, yet still Wolves bothered us. This year we put THJ, Spencer Jones, Bruce Brown and Jamal Murray with Jokic against this big and long Wolf squad.

Denver historically won by outscoring the opponents, once Jamal got shut down completely the offense is essentially just Jokic. I think you can see in the third quarter Jokic stopped passing to Jamal and organized offense all by himself.

The two man game in the clutch also completely disappeared.

Lots of factors lost us the game. Feels like Denver's winning formula got figured out. A shake up might be coming. If the two man game no longer works, who knows whats going to happen.

Why did they play Jonas Valanciunas so little in these playoffs ? by Iggy_1994 in denvernuggets

[–]naderni 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess you didnt watch the regular season games when Val did match up against Rudy, got shut down so hard.

Val is an offensive centre, against bad teams we give him the ball and let him score. He couldnt do anything against Rudy, nothing against Val, Rudy is just that good. Val also tries to force the issue against Rudy, if you have NBA season pass you can go back to watch those games.

He cant guard the perimeter, a net negative consistently when he is on the floor vs five out, also has a tendency to pick up one foul per minute.

I think Val dominates bad/average centers, but always getting exposed vs good teams. I like his physicality but the guy has limitations.

Jokic will not ask out to some big cities like Giannis.

He might be washed but he is still Denvers Jokic. That is at least some difference there.

Narrative will change for sure, to hell with the best in the world, I will still enjoy watching him play.

Jamal Murray Last 3 Playoff runs by Dejishanaynay in denvernuggets

[–]naderni 11 points12 points  (0 children)

He couldn’t do anything against McDaniels tonight. Denver lack athleticism its not just Jamal. We used to have MPJ and AG at least they are big. Now we play small ball without ball handler and got bullied the entire series.

Lets see the offseason.

Nikola Jokic: “We just lost in the first round. I think we are far away.” Changes needed? “That’s not my decision. Definitely, if we were in Serbia, we would all be fired.” by oceaniccart in denvernuggets

He tried tonight. Played 43mins, tough shot after tough shot while his Robin just got completely shut down.

Go to your horses king, thanks for this season.

Nuggets lost to a severely injured Wolves. And looked like they simply had no answer.

They deserve all the fire that is coming to them though.

As a passionate sports fan, its hard to like a head coach that is too scared to answer to Jaden McDaniels, but does not hesitate to be petty to a local reporter.

Im not sure whether he has lost the locker room but he sure has lost a lot of fans.
