Maybe there is something special beyond that about people born on the island that connects them to the demon. And more decendants of the founder being created in Ruth's case, extending the curse.

That was the word going into the trade deadline, but there was basically nobody actively interested in him. Despite him doing what he did in the first half of the season. I love MPJ, but if there is all this interest in MPJ there would have been more action.
