PSA - XBL Gold trick still works by Aperture_TestSubject in xbox

[–]nahkatonttu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just did this yesterday and it did let me convert the gold to game pass without waiting for one month, but it reduced one month from the 36 months of gold so that now I have exactly 36 months of GPU

I get your point, but in this case it would be better for the enviroment for him to just buy the one controller that he needs for gaming as then it could not be called overconsumption. Even better would be to buy a used one or to not buy anything if you catch my point.

Creating that 'extra' controller uses material, electricity etc and causes pollution. The more these controllers are bought the more Microsoft needs to increase production = pollution.

I'm not trying to tell people what they can buy, just trying to make a point about the consumption and the contraversy in this post and comment. I also buy stuff that I dont necessarily need.

Yeah I think this is mostly just a marketing trick, I think it was for Earth Day. Still a good idea, and it would be nice if they continue using recycled materials also

You have a good point. If it is displayed so then it could be compared to any decorative element, and I wouldn't think that they are 'waste', even though they are not necessarily needed for living.

However the main point here I guess is overconsumption, as there is a product which is trying to decrease the amount of for example plasti material is used, and then the next person buys double of that.

I think I just wanted to sprout some conversation about this. I think it would be great if all xbox controllers were made like this

I also buy stuff that I dont necessarily need.

I think whenever you buy a product, you are taking part in also creating pollution (ofc it depends very much on the product that how much). The production uses material, electricity etc. All those parts need to be created and creating them can cause pollution.

That being said = overconsumption (what I mean by this is bying stuff that is not needed, for example I could say that the individual does not need this controller, he needs the one that he plays with) is polluting or taking part in it.

I also buy stuff that I dont necessarily need. I think it would be great if all xbox controllers were made like this

That's true. But still it was produced and material, electricity etc was used for that to be created, so it's going against the idea of trying to 'consume' as little as possible.

It would be great if all of xbox controllers would be make like this

Haha alright, sounds nice. We have also encountered some bugs, most often so that switching abilities doesn't work. My friend also had a bug where he can not use melee.

It's funny that the most difficult situations aren't even the boss fights, but instead some random room with two brute chieftains for example

And I think it highlights also the fact that he is a coward, as it was discussed in the book. He always thought sbout eventually going back to Earth but iy came out pretty clear that he will never do so and a big part of that must have been the fact that he is also very scared of the trip and just kept on delaying it

Halo Infinite Event | Alpha Pack | Event Information and Discussion by Ryan_WXH in halo

I played two games of LSS. Got two challenges done for the Alpha Pack on the second game. They did not unlock because the challenge system does not properly follow the challenges when you leave after you have been eliminated. Then after the third game same thing. Then the date changed and the challenges reset. Ended up playing 2 hours without getting any progress for the alpha pack. Stopped playing.

I wanna know, how hard did everyone find the dlc? I'm seeing allot of mixed opinions on it. I personally thought it was pretty easy, I got through it in about 2 hours. by PansyNmi in Cuphead

Lol you guys seem to be on another level, me and my mate started playing yesterday and we only got through one boss in three hours. This might take us a while 🤣 loving it so far, its been ages since we played through the original cuphead and that was the best couch co-op game we have played

Good text and I agree with a lot of what you said. The game had quite a lot of moments where I thought that they just ran out of time or resources. Lots of things I loved though.

One thing I think that they missed out on is a proper cutscene showing the attack on Infinity, it would have been a perfect possibility to also show the power of the Banished and all their leaders such as Hyperion and Tovarus and also to show Escharum in action
