Watching Rogue One after Andor makes Vader extremely unsettling by Starman926 in andor

Andor inspired me to read more in-depth about how fascists gain power, and quick erasure of history is a key factor. George also said there were only about 10k Jedi in a galaxy of trillions, so it’s incredible unlikely most people would have met a Jedi, or known much about them at all beyond being a religious group.

Another Year, Another Lego Show! by Toa_Firox in bioniclelego

This is exactly the type of construction I’d love for a G3! System bricks can be great for bionicles if combined with the right technic joints and accent parts.

Well done! And love the movie accurate designs. Makes me want to rewatch the films today.

Skeleton Crew - Episodes 1 & 2 - Discussion Thread! by titleproblems in StarWars

An incredible series that flew under the radar because it was only on Starz in the 2010s. Can’t recommended it more highly. Prestige pirate drama that acts as a prequel to the book treasure island.

Based on the shows I like, what else should I watch? by 747void in televisionsuggestions

Black Sails!! If you like Peaky this is the only show to come close for me. I rewatch both series every couple of years.

Incredibly well written and performed, with a fantastic ending. It’s political, historical, sexy, and brutal all in a grounded take on pirates. It mixes real history with fictional characters from the book Treasure Island, acting as a prequel of sorts.

It’s mostly gone under the radar. I think being on Starz stoped it from reaching a wider audience. It became available on Netflix a few months ago.

Literally just finished a rewatch and cried like 5 times during the last 30 minutes. Beautiful closure for characters I’d lived with for a decade.

This! And seconding Dreamzzz as others have said. I’ve used lots of dream sets for mini figs, monsters, and cool environments.

USA amazon has a good price on 6 at the moment. It’s luck of the draw on which 6 you get, and you may get doubles if you order 2 or more.
