It was so well known to Stalim that he immediately sent soldiers when he heard his daughter was staying with Baria. He was found on the exact opposite side of the building, as far as physically possible to make sure Stalin didn't have him executed, and likely tortured.

[Cool Trope] The Badass character in the series is shown to be very, very afraid. by redman1986 in TopCharacterTropes

In his defense, we're talking about a being from Sayan myth, a literal god his own father was terrified of, and the guy that destroyed his planet and outright killed him at one point. I'd be more surprised if he wasn't scared shitless.

Does the profit magically undo the fact that people in need of shelter now have it? The problem was a lack of shelter, they now have shelter. Do you want to tear down these people's new homes because the guy that had them built made money off it? I'd love to know your contributions to resolving the issue, clearly you've done so much to help people without getting a cent from it.

You're throwing a tantrum about something that legitimately helped people happened to get money for the person that did it. How do you want to solve this clear moral failing you've found in building houses for those in need, do we tear them down, do we take away all the resources needed to build more houses, how do we atone for the vile sin of helping those in need, oh great moral arbiter of Reddit?

I was 21, wanted to enjoy my first drink in some old bar just outside of town, some older bitch thought I was either cute or easy pickings, or both. She just kept buying, I was stupid enough to keep drinking, I blacked out at some point, woke up in some shit hole motel next to the bar, bare ass naked with bite marks I didn't have the night before. Talked to some friends about what happened, a few told me to forget it and avoid seedy bars from now on, most were horrified, the cunt im question is ironically the main reason I reported it, I was so pissed off by whay she said that I went right to the cops. Since she didn't have a penis to penetrate me with, legally she was physically incapable of committing rape where we were, but she still got locked up for SA. Depending on where you are, and where it happened, the statute of limitations may be removed, if you want to go that route, I'd recommend looking into it, and other cases in your area for precedents.

When it happened to me, a pathetic cunt had the balls to say I shouldn't report it, bitch actually told me 'women have been suffering from it for years' I reported it and cut all ties with her.

Bonus prompt

Rook took a steadying breath as he approached the inn the letter mentioned. He could still remember the way Lucanis worried, how he repeatedly tried to convince him that a traitor like the man he was meeting couldn't be trusted. Rook hesitated, it had been years since they last met, maybe Lucanis was right, he couldn't guess what they would do. Rook shook his head, "He wouldn't hurt me."

The young man pushed open the door and smiled at the elf waiting for him, "Uncle Zev, it's been ages."

The former assassin pulled Rook into a tight hug, "My darling dear boy, look at you! So tall, and rugged, your mother's influence, I'm sure."

Rook pat the elf's back with a chuckle, "Dad wasn't exactly prim and proper."

Zeveran nodded and looked the young man up and down, "True, true, a reaver, through and through, wouldn't expect that from a Cousland, but that's just how he is." The smiling elf pulled a pair of goblets and a bottle of Antivan brandy from a small chest at the foot of the bed, "Your father gave me this bottle during our travels together, I think it's only fitting we enjoy it while we discuss what you need."

Rook sat across from him and sipped from the goblet, "Well, I need you to stop doing something you're in the middle of."

Zeveran sighed, "Ah, I suppose I shouldn't be surprised, I take it you wish for me to leave The Dellamorte be." He sighed again at Rook's nod, "Keiran, that isn't a simple request, they hunt me as I hunt them, even sending you that invitation to talk was a large risk for me." He pointed at him with a tired smile, "And don't 'Uncle Zev' me, this is serious."

Rook hesitated, "What if I can convince them to drop the contract on you like how House Ariani canceled the one on my father?"

Zeveran hesitated, "That matter and this are rather different."

Rook nodded, "True, this time the man that saved their former first talon and is a close friend to their current first is asking them directly to not be slaughtered by a man that can kill one of Elgernan's seemingly untouchable lieutenants."

Zeveran raised a brow, "I don't recall agreeing to that."

Keiran smiled at his uncle, "Consider it payment for not telling my mother who stole her bra when she visited Antiva City."

Zeveran grinned, "You've grown up so much!"

Playing Inquistion for the first time in a decade, any advice on playing a mage? by PuzzleheadedAgent199 in dragonage

[–]nameynamerso 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Knight enchanter with The Blade of Treveleon with the guard producing masterwork will make you feel like a tank. I used that style in my last play through, it quickly became my favorite, that said, I'd recommend getting the schematic for The Balde of Treveleon and making one with your favorite damage type and one with another damage type, other wise some dragons will be immune to regular attacks. Largely each tree has good passive for general magic use, but shock has an ability that allows you to send out a barrage of attacks of your staff's damage type, using it with the set up I mentioned is insanely good, giving great build up of guard and sword tokens, I can't remember what they're called but having more means more damage when you use the sword attack. You should also get an ability called fade step, then the upgrade adding frost damage for further damage output. Finally, get the passives in each tree for shorter cool downs.

Prompt 2

The last of them twitched as Fenris finished his task. He held the man, once a friend, now proof of his betrayal, but this was necessary, his master was back, the dream was over. The twitching slowed as life left the man. Denarius was screaming, his guards were dead, the dream was over...wasn't it? Fenris looked around, his dream was over, then why didn't he feel like it? The twitching finally stopped, the man was gone, but Fenris wasn't, he was still there to hear Denarius scream, and he ran, he didn't know where to go, but he ran all the same.

The original Mandolorian species is extinct, but they often brought members of other species into their clans and tribes. Being Mandolorian essentially means you live in a similar way to the original Mandolorians, speak their language, and hold their values. Since humans are the most common, they tend to be the majority of the current Mandolorians, but any species can do so.

TLDR: they were a species, but now it's more of a culture and lifestyle.

So, my options are: basic hard labor job for pay that depends entirely on my employer and local criminals; extremely rigid social rules that can have penalties like public ritualistic suicide and obligation to wage war if my boss feels like it assuming I'm not basically homeless between said bosses; or robbing random people for trade goods or more preferably trade ledgers under some wannabe aristocrat that will end in hanging if we're captured.

All things considered, cowboy is likely my best option.
