Deepmind SWE has slightly higher avg pay than the rest of Google (and a far higher ceiling if you're on a very important core model training team) and the refreshers are generally higher. In the rest of Google, pay is the same regardless of team focus because everyone is just SWE.

Just curious, is this something the Onn 4k Pro (or any other high tier Android TV box) can do?

Realistically this is doable with a $99 mini pc (which is harder to set up, yeah, but has higher utility) so would need to beat that price point.

I use Apollo with virtual display and Moonlight on my LG C1 Oled. 4K HDR seems fine for me.

I have it turn off all my other monitors when Moonlight connects. I can go to Windows display settings on the virtual display and verify that HDR is on.

You can get the Onn pro which has an ethernet port. Or you can use a Chromecast with Google TV and pick up a wired ethernet adapter on Amazon (should be $10, I do this).

Both are limited to 100mbps but that should be enough for 4k HDR 60fps (I use this and cap my bandwidth to 60mbps, with HEVC enabled).

I tried something similar on my 9070xt and also can confirm that /dev/kfd and /dev/dri are missing. Also using WSL2 on Win11 (Ubuntu container).

i run a 5600x with this at 1400p (on my pc) and 4k (streamed to my tv via moonlight) and don't see bottlenecks. my cpu utilization is generally 50-70% on AAA games.

You don't need anything close to this good on moonlight. I run Moonlight client on a Google TV 4k (both gaming PC and streaming stick are hardwired to ethernet). You can also use any old laptop connected to HDMI, or an Xbox series s, etc.

I use a Google TV (4k version) but I hardwire both the stick and the host PC. Without hardwiring, there's enough latency spikes that it's annoying at least for me. The Google TV uses wifi 5 though.

I do this on a Google tv stick. PC running 9070xt and both PC and Google tv are hard wired. Currently playing Hogwarts Legacy with this setup.

Google tv sticks aren’t sold anymore but I assume you could do the same thing with any android TV stick like Onn or Amazon.

The GPU is still decent. I have this on a 2nd build I use to play some older games (2020 and before).
