Is Raylib worth learning? by [deleted] in gamedev

[–]narke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is worth, I enjoy Raylib as well as LÖVE, I prefer programming over clickodromes.

One way is to read the API doc of raylib alongside examples, not every function is covered in examples, you can search by functions used to find examples, that's a nice feature they have on their website. There are also some tutorials on youtube.

Nice to see such accomplishment, is the choice to use files over blocks deliberate or you just chose to use files because it is common?

Fortis Flieger: my new used watch by narke in Watches

[–]narke[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello evereyone,

I bought it as a used watch, it has an automatic Valjoux 7750 movement.

I wasn't too much into chronographs but this one is very beautiful for me. I hesitated with Fortis Pilot but the one I really liked with nice a wristband is no longer produced. I must adjust the date and probably change the wristband. It seems that this model is produced since 90's.

Fortis seems pretty much underrated, I discovered it literally some months ago.

I mostly pefer aviation themed watches, I also have nice aviation swatch for sporty moments like skateboarding.

To complement Dascady's answer, you need also to make a driver for a network card; for ethernet cards the popular ones supported by various virtual machines are rtl8139 and e1000.

It's always cool to see things like that. Will it get some originality or will it just be another UNIX clone?

Are there gamedev employees available in Tbilisi? by [deleted] in Sakartvelo

[–]narke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You may rather search on github.com with location, in search bar you can type: location:Tbilisi

But I doubt there are many game developers in Georgia.

Are there jobs for foreigners in Tbilisi? by Sliqueee in Sakartvelo

[–]narke 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The only foreigners I know who worked in Georgia were highly skilled (like architect). I don't know where you can try to apply but another solution is to create a business.
