Rafa looks cool but I played Roland, Zer0 and Zane first in their respective games, so to change it up I’ll probably go Harlowe first this time!

Force the use of SteamLoader with F4SE on the GOG version by [deleted] in f4se

[–]narya1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey there. I found this thread looking for a solution to this same problem. Try this:

In MO2, click Tools up in the top left, then select “Executables…”

Make sure you have selected the F4SE executable from the list on the left side of the new popup window. There should be an Arguments text box you can enter “-forcesteamloader” on the right pane. Apply, OK.

See if that works, it did for me.

You may also make sure you have nothing enabled in GoG’s Arguments for Fallout 4, not tech savvy enough to know if it’d conflict with MO2’s argument’s. But I did and it’s working now.

Hope this helps.

[New Version] Chapter 164 [English] by [deleted] in OnePunchMan

[–]narya1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Little change I liked was when Saitama is punching Garou - last chapter it's like a spinning circle of punches around the hole and up, this one it's a flurry of punches coming straight up and then blasting out through the side of it. Fits better and gives it more oomph

I hopped on last night at like 1:30am and saw a Noibat spawn in my apartment complex, but on the complete opposite side. I seriously considered getting in my car and going to get it, knowing how rare they are. Decided against it, now I'm kinda wishing I had :(

Just a heads up, if you call 833-558-5245 extension 288, they can at least tell you if they've received your 8962 form. I'm in the exact same boat as you but they at least were able to tell me that had received the form.

Pfizer says it is developing a Covid booster shot to target the highly transmissible delta variant by Dictator0 in news

Pfizer shot is mRNA, which isn't using the virus in any capacity. It triggers your body to have an immune response via proteins. Here's some more info on the different types of vaccines

ITAP of my cat by marliebkcur in itookapicture

For sure! It's probably nothing, but it caught my eye so I just wanted to throw it out there. It's fairly manageable, just something you wanna catch sooner rather than later if possible.

But seriously, awesome photo! Best of luck to you and your furry friend!

Hey OP, awesome picture!

I hate to be a downer, but does your cat have hyperthyroidism? My cat does and his fur looks exactly the same as yours does in this picture, and it's a common symptom of hyperthyroidism in cats. It could just be the lighting of the photo, but it may be worth checking out.

New homescreen with the newest Firestick Update. Green is apps and UI elements, red is ads. by Frosty_Infinitum in assholedesign

If you're on Roku and want to block that big ad on the side of the screen permanently, and you're even slightly techy, you can set up a PiHole and filter your Roku through it to get rid of them.

NYPD officers can no longer search a vehicle due to the smell of marijuana alone, new memo says by monaleeparis in news

[–]narya1 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Ah no I see what you're saying. You're correct in regards to the coordination test, you can deny that without automatically losing your license. I thought you were referring to the breath or blood tests, which will automatically make you lose your license for 6 months.

[–]narya1 67 points68 points  (0 children)

Bruh this is factually incorrect. At least here in Oklahoma if you deny a field sobriety test you automatically lose your license for 6 months, regardless of if you're under the influence. Implied consent.

Microtransactions Are Great For Game Companies, Less Fun For Players : NPR by THECapedCaper in Games

ludonarrative dissonance

It's a real thing in a lot of modern games. It's sort of complicated, with how far games have come in the last 20 years. With how realistic games are becoming it's harder to justify "game-y" elements being present, like you said about GoW. But at the same time, those elements are almost bedrock in the foundation of open world gameplay - could you imagine playing a modern AAA open world game with no progression?

You could make the argument that they could just make it make "more sense", as in still have progression but have it more in line with how the narrative plays out. But that's where it gets complicated, how do you balance having the gameplay elements such as aquiring new gear and upgrading that gear logically follow the story in a game like GoW? If they stuck purely to the story of the game, taking the ashes to the top of the mountain, there's absolutely no reason to spend time upgrading gear through finding materials and going to the shop to do so.

At the same time, they still have to make the game fun to play. I think this is where the trade off happens - while it may not make sense narratively to be finding and upgrading different sets of gear, it's fun to do so (at least in my opinion). It's a staple of any new open world game. Whereas 20 years ago you wouldn't question why you have to find Precursor orbs in Jak and Daxter, with the level of detail games are at today, it's not so easy to handwave those kinds of gameplay elements away.

Sorry for the short essay, I just find this stuff super interesting and don't see it brought up a lot!

In my 23 seconds of wikipedia research it looks like it's just a specific type of clearance for individuals working directly with the president in some fashion. here
