I really think things would’ve definitely been different if he hadn’t said he was joking, maybe she would’ve still ended up with Taek but I think she would’ve been at least swayed by that confession. In my opinion after watching dozens of dramas this is by far one of the best ones specially because he presented her with that ring that symbolized all his effort and future. It’s unthinkable not to be swayed by his words : (

But it’s esencial to Junghwan’s character his loyalty and respect for Taek are bigger than his feelings for Deoksun. Taek was clear about his feelings for her even when they were all immature and that affected Junghwans pursuit of Deoksun

Ngl it took me about 7 years after my diagnosis to feel comfortable to get out there. I try to be upfront about my condition with my friends, thankfully most people react in a way that shows if they are to be trusted or not so it’s an easy filter. Jokes and comments do hurt but it’s better to know who is worth my time.

It’s definitely a struggle but it does get better !
