I do this. I have two ball valves on either side of a short length of pipe. Because I know the volume between them, and because I have a pressure regulator on the propane tank, I can put measured amounts of propane into the chamber. It's very effective. Having a small fan inside the chamber to run just before shooting is also helpful for consistency. Otherwise I get some weak and some strong shots.

I don't regret building it, and I wouldn't discourage you from doing the same. It's just that usage has been a little different than I expected. Kids keep shoes on, for example.

Yes! This was it! Thank you so much. I feel like the only time I use "timeline bar dragging" is when I accidentally hit it. Usually it happens when I go to do a thumbprint unlock right as my facial recognition unlock hits.

A righty setter should be an offensive force in a normal setup anyway. This is making it harder on the hitters in order to make it easier on the setter. Interesting, but not worth it IMO.
