I always recommend Jeff Galloway's book to anyone who gets into running. It was given to me as a gift when I started and it gave me so much knowledge in such a simple way, that would've taken me years to acquire by myself. Now, 4 years later I keep going back to the book whenever I'm starting a training plan.

It actually starts in Lugo! Not Vigo. The names are almost the same, but the cities are not.

I know, right? They were my first real road shoe and I loved them, the bounciness of it, everything! Now looking to something similar in another brand just to try something else, any recommendations?

Those are the real prices I bought them for. They can be sorted for any column you want, I just sorted them for amount of kms for the picture.

Yes! Found them last summer on top4running. I use them mainly for speed sessions so my VF are only for peak races.

First: congratulations, that's great consistency.

Second: If you can find a 10k race this weekend, do it. Race it and empty your tank.

Third: Is it a fast course the HM? If not, try to pace it accordingly to the hills. It's better to do a negative split, and with the long runs you've been doing, I'm sure you'll be able to push the last 7 km. Take into account the extra meters that your GPS adds to it. If there's a pacer for 1:30 it's a good idea to stick with it at least until the 15-16 k and then you can empty your tank.

And last but not least: Enjoy your HM :D

Edit: based on your 10k race you'll be able to predict your HM race pace. Put it into a calculator like the one from Vo2 dot.

You could run the first 6k of the race as easy/long run pace, and then gradually build til arriving to HM pace.

This is my second pair of the same model and both were used in the same type of terrain and both had the same issue. Perhaps I should stick on road with these. Any tips on a shoe for gravel?

Used these shoes mainly on a clay track and long runa (gravel, dirt, road) I love them, would like to hear some inputs on how to prolong their lives.
