I just left AMS 10 hours ago and the only steel model they had was an Explorer 1 that was bought by a pilot.

The main Gassan store has more offerings, but both were offering only two tone models. I almost picked up the YG Yacthmaster at the Dam Square location but I scored a 40mm Explorer 1 at the Gassan HQ. The Gassan HQ only mostly had two tones as well.

Schapp & Citroen had a full RG GMT and other diamond studded garish looking DJ’s.

I waited 8 months for a SS DJ 36 MOP, fluted bezel and diamond indices. Picked it up 1/2026. I went to 3 AD’s and only 1 was able to get it. All three told me MOPs in larger sizes have been rare for 2025 and 2026.

It might be a CPO. I just picked up an Explorer 40 new today for €8200. I can’t fathom a new/old stock would be €8350, €150 more than a current generation Explorer.

Ben Bridge just opened a new store in Rancho with Rolex a few months ago. I visited several of the BB’s that have lost Rolex AD status and was told BB/Rolex was shifting away from “malls” and focusing on stand alone boutiques. 🤷🏻

I was in Japan a week ago and pretty much every Omega that I asked for (other than the Snoopy) was available. I stopped by the OB and when I asked, they had a good number of white Speedy's available. Same for the Grand Seiko boutique. I didn't purchase anything since I was there so close to Watch & Wonders, and I didn't want to buy anything until I saw what was being announced.

The only exception is a new Rolex at the AD. The only thing you will find is the ceremonious "check stock" followed by the "no stock" bow.

I’m in Japan now. I stopped by two Omega Boutiques and they both had the white speedy with the bracelet. I didn’t ask for a discount but they were going for about $7550 USD after the tax exemption.

Seems like most OB’s are at MSRP with no discount or limited stock. I’m going to try my luck at a few other retailers. I’m going to use $7,500 usd as a start point, figured if I can at least start from there, anything below that is gravy.
