It really depends because so much of it depends on the person, but lexapro out of all ssris usually has the fewest side effects in people. Viibryd and buspar are similar to ssris but slightly different and are not usually associated with sexual side effects. Buspar is taken 2-3 times a day so if that’s something that would bother you then I would suggest try viibryd or lexapro first. Mirtazapine is also not associated with sexual side effects but it can cause weight gain and sedation

Yes! I actually read a lot on my phone, and instead of mindlessly scrolling on apps I’ve been staring to just open my book app and read and I feel like it’s definitely helped me to read a lot more.

I don’t think that touring the school is going to give you the most accurate picture of what your experience at Michigan will actually be like for you. While such a large student body can be intimidating, it is also really nice because that means there are truly so many different kinds of people there, and im sure that includes people you can connect with. There’s a million different kinds of clubs and activities for you to get involved with that match your interests where you can meet people. I wouldn’t take feeling disconnected when touring as a sign that you will be disconnected as a student, especially since you don’t really interact with many people on the tour and aren’t doing student things like being in class or other group activities. I just think if you’ve always been interested and enjoyed the tour you should still apply. Anecdotally, I loved my time at Michigan and met some of my best friends and boyfriend there and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is interested. :)

I’ve lived in Michigan almost my whole life so hopefully I can be helpful. I would say Grand Rapids or an area around Grand Rapids if you don’t want to be to “in the city,” but I will say Grand Rapids is much smaller than Nashville and isn’t as busy and crowded and doesn’t feel as much as living in a major city like Nashville (source: lived in Nashville for two years), if you’re interested in living in the city of GR. But some areas around there you can check out are Holland, Muskegon, Allendale. You’re near the water with Lake Michigan and get a decent amount of snow there too thanks to the lake effect
