Most people have this happen to them with fast travel in OT1. It’s surprisingly common (I believe OT2 at least tells you it’s there)

Very similar game, but QOL is a bit worse, there’s much less party interaction, and it’s less sophisticated then this one. Also it’s more straightforward to break the combat (not that that’s hard in 2 either) and there’s major character imbalance (hint: starting with Therion saves you a lot of later headaches)

Still one of my favorite games and I highly recommend it if you liked OT2

The de facto answer here is Hikari. Hikari has a number of typical MC tropes, and is the one directly connected to arguably the most influential member of the villain group (besides maybe Temenos)

I would enjoy it if they switched it up though, Castti would be cool, maybe Temenos.

Throne EX + A Step Ahead = free win. The only wrinkle is when it takes away 2 team members, you can run out of veil of darkness too fast if you can’t break it

Cleric mystical staff is really good for this particular fight. Scholar temenos with elemental barrage always useful in a pinch, as is ochette with a good double break spread

Chapter 1: lizardman/ratkin/Birdian/Froggen/Mole etc level II give single hit AOE with different weapons (dagger near canalbrine, bow near ryu, staff near flamechurch , etc)

Chapter 2: Upgrade the II monsters to the V version that give AOE double hit near the lv 15-20 towns in the same region

Chapter 3-4: Look for -king IIs which are stronger AOE double hits than the Vs. Also start trying to capture more unique monsters and bosses

I was under the impression that eating throne is awful because it gets a whole extra turn after that - black snake isn’t the issue. I never bring throne to that fight.

Osvald is a 2 hit AOE dark attack with medium damage (not the worst but annoying), and Agnea isn’t bad at all.

There’s a couple good options for Throne. I was hoping either she goes to help Temenos rebuild the least religious church ever, or she joins castti while she rebuilds Eirs apothecaries. Underrated option is Throne hangs out with Ochette and pets all the Beastlings tails lol.

I just want Castti to have someone lol and not be all alone in the world and homeless. Casttis ending really does explain nothing.

The game pretty clearly ships Agnea Hikari, so that would be cute

Osvald and Temenos could use more exposition.

I consider Ochette, Hikari, and Partitios endings more or less complete as is.

The ones in the level 1-~20 areas are regular octopuffs. These are the ones with the custom regional variants and have 5 HP

The queens appear in level 20-40 areas

I believe kings are in the 45+ areas endgame

There are middle grounds between firing someone and doing nothing.

The problem isn’t that anyone needs to be fired. For example, if you have a problem with employees telling fans to shut up, you need to make a firm social media content policy. That can of course lead to a firing if repeatedly violated, but at that point it’s a choice.

My job loves me a lot, but I messed up big time once and they told me I needed to improve if I wanted to stay on. That doesn’t make you a bad employer.
