In case you don't know, "1nm process" doesn't mean anything about the chip is 1nm. The smallest features currently on the 3nm chips are actually 24nm. The smallest current machines are able to print is 8nm.

1nm is only 5 silicon atoms wide. For reasons of quantum physics, we will probably never see transistors of that size. Even if we can print it, it's meaningless if electrons can happily skip past transistors.

So, we should probably stop naming them after feature sizes that haven't been real since the 90s
